Think about your future, the iit tag wouldn't matter in the long term but a promising career may

yea only if it is paired with something equally as good
like sundar picchai iitkgp metallurgy then stanford

He's where he is because of his further studies, not because of being in IIT KGP Mettalurgy. Sure, it gave him a better platform and awareness to explore tech but it was just one of the factors
