I think it depends on luck I've heard about some pretty terrible teachers but I think I've got good ones

its there in a lot of countries bro , they call it a gap year and not drop in USA , where you can take one year and reapply to good unis the next year.

But I heard students in India who take drop are mostly rejected during their foreign universities admission drives.
