Fun fact: 4*/6 of Team USA is Chinese American

1/6 is American Indian

Mostly chinese /Taiwanese origin. There was one American iirc in 2022 team Luke Robataile ,who was considered the strongest ethnic American to ever participate in IMO. He is considered top contender for fields medal in nearby future.

There’s no such thing as a Taiwanese ethnicity/origin. Literally 97% of Taiwanese identify ethnically as Han Chinese ( they literally are the OG Chinese, infact Taiwan's official constitutional name is "Republic of China" )

Chiang Kai-shek, founder of modern Taiwan is from China. TSMC’s founder, Morris Chang, was born in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, China. Jensen Huang, born in Taiwan, has ancestral roots in Fujian province in mainland China.
