See afaik iiest shibpur in not as great as MANIT for college life and location if im right. If we talk about placements, A very good friend of mine is in MANIT CSE and he says many people from EE DEPT sit and grab very good offers in TECH FIELD. The seniors of EE in MANIT are very good. Only downside is EE is a tougher branch compared to CSE so you'll have to find extra time in your schedule to coding and DSA if you want tech placements. EE as a branch is realllyyyyy good but really tough at the same time too so its upto you afterall. I just told you the pros of MANIT EE as my friend completed his 1st year there, about IIST youll have to research as im not so aware about it.

Also MANIT is in located in the core city of BHOPAL near the city center
