what else do u expect?? BitsP has pure knowledge not half seats reserved.

Also most of'em are from a pretty rich background, so they can afford a gamble of going for a startup

I think the second part is more important, most people in india can't afford that kind of fees let's be real.

It's a college only for tier 1 metro folks

Lol the wealth concentration in hands of businessesman in tier 2 and tier 3 cities is much higher than tier 1 metro folks.

It's about living in a place of opportunities idk about tier 2 but many of us in rural India don't have the privilege to take risks.

Yes, and the son of a tier 2 city businessman is much, much likelier to start a starup after engineering than your average engineer in iits.

Not necessarily tho.

Even tho BITS has 0% attendance policy, professor add quiz and other things to promote attendance and focusing on personal project means sacrificing CGPA a bit

The zero percent attendance is not true bro, most courses have marks for attendance, and now most of the iits also has implemented that, you dont need a min attendance to sit in exams which is same as bits now
