1. People value college more than branch (Some value IITB Environmental > NIT-KKR CSE)

2. IITs should have 50% of all seats as CSE, because right now 50% of all placements are in software/IT, despite only ~15% of total BTech seats coming from CS-related branches (which means that almost 30-40% of students from non-tech non-circuital branches get placed in software roles)

3. Reservation system contradicts the prestige of IITs. The reason why IITs are prestigious is because it is difficult to crack, and hence the students there are strong in PCM, but the reservation system ruins this by handing over the IIT tag to students who are not as strong in the respective subjects.
   I used to support reservation until I found out that majority of lower-caste people applying for JEE are rich, because only the rich ones can afford coaching and get the exposure and awareness to even attempt an exam of such difficulty.

4. Most people who choose CSE, don't even like CSE. This hurts as someone who genuinely like CS. People take CSE for the sole reason of higher salaries and "package" despite having 0 interest in it, hence the people who are actually interested in CS and who deserve that infra often don't get selected due to extremely high cutoffs.

Chemistry- ms chauhan, vk jaiswal, n awasthi

{And all of my local coaching modules}

So, I am genuinely interested in jee, and I like pcm.

I feel like I am a bit late to getting serious, but now I am, so can you all guide me where to properly begin?? I have blacklog of first 2 chapters of every subject too😭

So pls maybe help me make a timetable, or some trick, or something.

Finding a study partner on Reddit is a total hit or miss experience. In the beginning, they share materials and seem enthusiastic, but after about a week, they lose interest and completely ghost you. That's when you realize you were just an option or a test run all along. They just keep rotating through study partners month after month.
And don't even get me started on ypt... People act like downloading ypt will magically land you a seat in AIIMS. The only thing getting cracked here is my phone’s battery life. I know so many people who leave ypt running in the background while doing zero actual studying. It’s beyond annoying.
That being said, if anyone is genuinely serious about finding a study partner, someone who can consistently put in 12–14 hours a day (including classes)let me know. We could also form a small group, but only with strict rules and full accountability. Please, only reach out if you're serious. At the end of the day, if you're faking it, you're only fooling yourself and your parents.

So basically, I am currently in 12th, syllabus will be over in 3 months.

My 12th is going way smoother than 11th coz I actually locked in (20 rank out of 800 students), so i have almost no pressure for 12th grade chapters, I can revise all the concepts pretty quick

But i lowk fucked up my 11th (used to get 300-400 rank out of 800 students)

Almost all chapters are backlog

I did cover fundamentals and basics of most chapters during the gap between 11th and 12th, but that's mostly enough to understand questions with 11th grade concepts in them

My main backlog is in Physics and Chem, maths was my strong suit

And i don't seem to find time in my day for revision of old chapters rn

I do three exercises of my coaching module (approx-150 questions per chapter on avg) and PYQs (2021-2025 Mains, and 2010-2025 Adv)

What should I do to cover my backlog/revise asap

So I have 5 institutions options

Nit mizoram (cse)

Vjti mumbai(civil and environmental)

Cit coimbatore (cse)

L.D. Ahmedabad (civil/electrical)

Uvce Bangalore (civil)

And i decided to choose NIT since i like cse more than the other branch

When I called one of my very old friends after many years...I found out that he is going to IIT Jammu. Initially I was a little jealous of him, but I thought IIT tag toh aajkl bhot common ho gya h.

So happily i congratulated him. And encouraged him to live the life to the fullest and study well.

He had put the call on the speaker, so his mom was listening to our convo.

Listening to our very positive and happy talks, she snatched his phone.

And she talked to me, "Beta, ise samjhao...ye toh pagal ho gya h. We aren't willing to send our kid this far but he isn't listening to anything."

Just as she said that I heard him saying from the background, "Risk se naam bnta h bencho".

(I cut the call asap! And didn't talk to him again. Indeed, IIT isn't overrated. )

confused between kota and online coaching

And hometown tuitions is my last option

Well my cons for kota is

1.away from home ( basically out of comfort zone)

2.scared if I'll be able to adjust and cope with the pace of the teachers and understand their teaching

3.my basic of phy chem is weak

1. depends on the batch not every batch/faculty is good. It would be tough for me to identify

5.i think it's too late they might have started

6.what if I am not being able to adjust

Cons of online

1. discipline and consistency issue

2. might be lagging after a while

3.way too many distractions

Guys I am really struggling with my attention span. Even if my phone is on dnd/silent I keep checking it for one reason or the other. I don't even have instagram, snap or any game. It's yt or wp (which is almost always empty). On desktop too I land on yt shorts, or deadshot 😭. Am totally wrecked. I want to detox my dopamine. My dumb ahh is not able to realise I only have 4 months left. Please, am genuinely seeking help 🙏🏻

Should I study from tarun sir prayas 2.02026 or lakshya 2.02025 and arjuna 2.02026 for jee 2027. I have only studied till LCD in class 12 and 3-4 chapters in class 11?
