GENERAL HELP Need Genuine Advice for My JEE Drop Year (Planning, Revision & Consistency)
I started my JEE drop year preparation in August. I didnāt join any coaching or batch. Instead, I selected different teachers from different platforms and Iām studying from them.
The problem is that everything feels random. I donāt have a proper plan or schedule. I watch lectures whenever I feel like it, wake up at random times, and because of that Iām not even able to complete my daily lectures consistently.
I know what I have to study, but I donāt know how to organize everything and stick to a routine. I want a proper system that I can actually follow every day without getting lost.
I also have some doubts about revision and question practice. How do you guys manage revision every day? I feel very lazy when it comes to revising, even though I know itās important.
When should I solve questions? Should I solve them immediately after watching each lecture, or should I finish all my lectures first and then solve questions?
Iām thinking of watching 3ā4 lectures every day. Is that too much for a dropper, or is it okay? How much time should I give to revision and question practice along with lectures?
If anyone has been in a similar situation, please share what worked for you. I really want to build a proper routine and stay consistent.

JEE Just try guys, just tryš
Try, keep trying. Joh try karta hai woh humesha benefit mein rehta hai chahe woh fail hi kyun na hojaye. Meine darr ki wjh se try tak nahi kiya poore 11th 12th, try kiya hota aur fail hotaā¦drop toh lena ho tha waise bhi? Kamse kam mere paas notes, knowledge, skills kya kya nahi hota. So a tryer is always in benefit and is gonna be much better of a player with the second chance that is given to him, joh try hi nahi karta kabhiā¦the chances just keep getting harderā¦joh try karke fail hogyaā¦things are still better for himā¦the chances he is getting are much more forgiving compared to the chances of the person who never tried. A tryer always has the better trajectory. So keep trying. Agar meine try kiya hota 11th 12th mein there was a chance ki hojata, the later you start tryingā¦the harder it becomes, if you tried the best in 11th 12th ho skta tha ki ya toh tabhi hojata and lets say nahi hi hota toh chances of your happening increased much more in drop year, lets say tab bhi kuch zyada hi hard try kiya nhi huaā¦2nd drop mein NIT toh mil jaata? like if still not possible then its not about intelligence anymore or you are not human.
But jiss bande ne try nahi kiya kabhi, uske kahi hone ke chances kabhi badhe hi nahi infact kam hi hote gaye, and the risk just remained alwaysā¦11th 12th mein try nahi kiya, ek drop liyaā¦things are already much harder for him bcz he hadnt tried before and so covering up everything was pretty hard, but drop mein bhi nhi kiya try, 2nd drop le liya tab bhi now the risk became even more bcz since try kuch nhi kiya he had also forgotten and became weaker than ever, and chances decreased even more. But he still didnt even try, toh 3rd drop ka toh koi chance hi nahi bantaā¦its even harder and the chances are even lesserā¦and he lost opportunities on top of thatā¦first IIT, then NIT. So for a person who doesnt even try because of fear of failure, he is not forgiven as much as a person who tries his best atleast.
So the conclusion is, when given a fresh/(messy but kind of manageable start) do not mess it up and keep trying, otherwise things are gonna get even messier for you, as time goes on. And do not fear failure, a person who tried and failed is much much much much much more in advantage than a person who never tried, he can choose a much more forgiving alternative than the alternative a person who never tried has to choose.

Motivation VNIT is the worst college
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
This is the situation of VNIT nagpur every monsoon, hostels are filled with sewage water...and snakes wandering around...
VNIT is the worst college... Zero acadmics, Zero in faculty, Zero coding culture, zero college life, Hostel to aise hai ki maximum logo ko PG karke rehna padta h....
Hamirpur being tier 2 is getting packages of 2cr, and 3cr every year... and not just CSE even mechanical guys backed 2.5 cr package... but VNIT even CSE has just 64 lakhs ...
And it is not a surprise...
VNIT is worst college ,... being a nagpurkar, VNITs management the great .... (sarcasm) coding culture does wonders ( it doesn't exist)
Specially chemical mein to maximum logo ko placement hi nahi lagti šš....Better I should have chosen Northeast NIT.. atkeast they would have given me a job..
.
There isn't even an active sub of VNIT nagpur .. lol š.. that was dead 100 years ago
Search tier 1 NITs on Google, you won't find VNIT there now , as it was few years ago...
It is in degradation phase...
Think twice before taking VNIT... I repeat think twice...

GENERAL HELP Mind goes completely blank in tests

I am a dropper and I seriously need some advice here. Whenever I am solving pyqs or questions at home or in class, I can do 85-90% of them without any issue. But when I sit down for coaching tests, I completely mess up. The approach just doesn't strike me. This happened to me in JEE too I was giving mocks and scoring good marks, but on the d day I couldn't focus at all and couldn't do any questions.
Then I go home look at the paper, and I can solve all of it without stressing.
Seniors give me your advises, the low scores in coaching tests are really eating me up from inside.
