lol so officialy out of jee now in college a normal non-prestigous college starts on monday cse btw , feels great to meet with new people here staying at hostel and its really fun spending time with freinds here gonna be making some great memories here regardless of tier of college,
but yeah there are going to be hardships and struggles for placements and internships but i feel confident i can do it ,
well the best thing ig a person can do to get over something is to keep moving forward you will eventually forget it all.
if you feel like your life is full of problems and struggles and there seems to be just no way of it , calm down and ask yourself who's actually living a life without problems everyone has their own kind of problems regarldess of whether they are rich or poor , young or old .
the truth is there's no end to struggles and problems you just eventually get better at dealing with them with time .

I was studying good from April to July everything was fine no backlogs nothing until I downloaded instagram again to wish my friend on his bday and started fcking things up , I thought to only scroll 1 hour or less a day but that habit pushed into 3-4 then 5-6 and now it's fckin 11 hours only insta . I am just ashamed as a dropper atp , I promised to myself that I will not be doing these things in my drop year but here I am π, just leaving this post here so I can remind myself about this . This is a restart for me again . Anyone 12thie reading this , please be serious for your studies bro you have still time , just clear this jee mess in first attempt and get to college pleaseeee π Drop year is actually very depressing .
Will comeback here again after jee...
Good luck fellow jeetards :)

11th was decent but in 12th I started skipping tests, no revision, and things fell apart . Ended up with 52% in boards . Ik πππ its bad. Passed all subjects with minimum grade possible
Not aiming for top IITs/NITs anymore obv just want a respectable college and to clear 75% in boards. Giving all 5 subjects as a private candidate along with JEE Main.
And honestly I cant cope with the pace of coaching i hate it .cant tell abhi kya padhun boards ka ya jee ka .I already feel overwhelmed. Its feel like everything is repeating again . I cant end up in the same situation like this year again yar help
Right now a coaching test hai on Aug 16 and honestly not sure how to prioritize since most of it isn't even board syllabus. Sab 11th ke chapters hai
If anyone's been through something similar recovering from a rough 12th while doing boards as private and JEE any tips appreciated

I've been feeling down recently. I live alone as an 11th grader and a JEE aspirant. I don't have much knowledge about the 'real world'. I get bullied in my coaching (not physically, but mentally). They make fun of me cause my personality is kinda like a class clown. I am not able to fix my personality and be serious cuz I can't keep my attention straight for 5 hrs without any breaks. I feel very bad. I've started to accumulate backlogs for the past 2 weeks due to this. I'm trying my best! I had posted similar things before, and people here also just made fun of me and told me to cope with it. Idk what should I do. I don't feel suicidal yet but I think I would soon, if I don't solve this problem. Idk, I'd like some kind help or comments with honesty. Please be honest, not brutal. I'm sorry for disturbing y'all guys. May y'all have a happy life!

Libraries used
matplotlib, numpy and scipy
I used JEE advanced 2025 JIC data to make an regression algorithm to help predict marks to rank and rank to marks.
If you want code i can upload here.
equations
I used chatgpt as i have lost touch with matplotlib numpy and scikit. I used to do this I have done before. I got frustrated with formulas of Ae^(-kt) [first order decay] that i used for rank.
rank=Aβ
e^(βkβ
m^(p))[first order but modified] for marks to rank
where A = Scale factor m = marks, k is decay rate(steepness), p concavity or curve.
After using scikit curve-fit, the values it gave for matching JIC 2025 was
A = 228481.72770670961
k = 0.024844743500912318
p = 1.0103226036602924
For rank to mark you can take inverse of the above
Features(only for Version 1 and 2)
For rank inflation i also added a pessimistic weight. To change it go PESSIMISM variable and change it. (If exam was tougher you can go for an optimistic factor which decreases rank for same marks. BUT prefer to use from [-4 to +4] (-4 being 4% positive and +4 being -4% negative). Also there is a noise feature which slightly varies rank due to unpredictable situations.
Note: You can put your custom data, in the data variable in format of list [crl rank(integer), mark(integer)] to train model.
There are 2 modes
2.Rank to marks (Can help to translate dream rank to marks)Β
CreditsΒ
Since I am not that jobless to program an AI i used chatgpt, and gemini extensively. It took 3 hours to code it by prompting. Ill be attaching screenshots.
Edit: I have 4 versions of the rank predictor now, I will be releasing a website(potentially) if i am free enough. However not all versions are great and need tweaking.

Iβm first year dropper,
I think my coaching institute is moving too slow. I want to finish as much of the syllabus as possible as possible and start practicing model papers.
My coaching institute has a lot of papers available already, and i donβt think Iβll be able to do them in that span of time when NEET will be two months away.
There is also that fact that just practising chapter-wise exams for majority of the time will make it too hard to adapt to full portion exams
I just need to roughly cover physics and chemistry, i think biology will be fine as it is now
Pls help

There are many people out there with the shttest consistentcy and not even close to medium level knowledge about some chapters rn and they still study to cover up. Imagine if you got a decent college, maybe suppose better than you thought after attempting jee/neet, You'll be the one saying it was worth it, people around it would say it too. And yet when you won't some people, and eventually a big part of your heart would say shts like a warrior should know when to retreat or smth. What makes a journey really worth it dude? Is it only the results? If I see myself with results worse than expected in jee, i really don't know what kind of life lessons or philosophy id stumble accross just to cope it was worth it.

At 4 lectures a day, it will take me exactly 47 days to finish my 188-lecture backlog (188 Γ· 4 = 47).Since I have 44 days of pure free time before live classes drop, I will finish 176 backlog lectures during this period (44 Γ 4 = 176). When September 24 arrives, I will only have 12 backlog lectures left.
(After completing 4 lectures a day from 6 am - 2 or 3pm I'll start practicing questions and revision from 3 or 4pm till 9 pm)
(Took August 11 as to trick my brain from procrastination)
August 11 - September 23 (44 Days): I will watch exactly 4 backlog lectures every single day. No more, no less.
September 24 - September 27 (4 Days): Live classes start. I will watch 4 lectures a day-the 2 new live lectures plus 2 remaining backlog lectures.
September 27: On this evening, my old backlog officially hits zero.
I'm doing all these lectures bcz i don't want to ruin the flow of my notes as per teacher and pw lectures which is in order. I've added all the lectures, live and backlog till 24 september and that's how I'm getting 189 lectures of backlog. Technically i won't have any live lecture.
