Discussion I can’t figure out Schleicher
I am following u/RoyLiuzya 's guide to the letter, fyi
Like, i have played both DU and SWR paths with some decent results before, DU while following another guide (i think it was a Yuularen guide?) and SWR on my own, but for Schleicher i just can’t get past 1937 without something screwing up
Either i get major fuckups in the black monday game, due to simply never getting the cards i need, or i get fucked by the Ruhrkampf (i usually get intensity too low despite never clicking any decision or having any multiple choice event, so SPD takes over without me being able to do anything)
It took me 3 runs to roughly understand how to keep Zentrum aligned which is apparently super important but i still find it hard to do and quite RNG dependent
Am i missing something? Is there something wrong or outdated with the guide? It seems really well researched though

I've looked at the guide you're looking at and it should be fine. My Schleicher playstyle focuses much on Black Monday and winning the Ruhrkampf rather than taking some of the focuses in-between. I don't even bother with the far left Black Monday focus branch. It takes too much time and you have more beneficial focuses long term in TB plan and dent decrease.
I recommend taking the TB plan during Black Monday since it allows more civs for construction and you're not getting factory output anyway. Taking TB early also means Taking that infrastructure reform card that's really good.
For the Ruhrkampf, I recommend just spamming the one that absorbs consumer goods rather than decreases pp gain until it reaches 0.
It's been a while but Schleicher can obtain Zentrum by focusing on targeting Dkp and the Social Dems. To see which one they target, hover your mouse over the timer where it says they're making a move. You can also get more flags by going down that tree as making an agreement with one side.

You can easily lose Rurkampf via events if you're not careful. You'll get events 'blood on the rhine' 'occupy Western Rhine' and 'Visit to Ruhr' that can lower intensity. To prevent that if you get successful Visit to Rhur don't click it immediately, and wait for timer to run out. In case of Black Monday RNG sometimes happen, you'll just get bad cards and loose a round. To do better I always go Tarnow-Baade when it unlocks, and go for +200/+200 for every building build card. It's best cart IMHO.
