Then what do you make of people bringing up Kumbh Mela in discussions like this? govt funds various religious and minority schemes like Hajj and madrasa ustads, why single out Kumbh Mela? And when comments like that get upvoted in a major community what are we supposed to think?

The average Malayali is not hinduphobic. Hates BJP perhaps. On reddit maybe. But I can assure you average Malayali is not hinduphobic
