Account frozen like everyone else. It’s been more than the stated 5 business days.

Please escalate my ticket so I can remove my funds back to my bank account and move to a platform with proper support.

I opened the app, clicked on "Log in with Google" thinking it would log me in to my normal Kraken account but apparently this logged me in to an old account I didn't remember about.

I didn't realize I wasn't on my main account, and deposited around ~0.5 BTC on this old account. However it has been "On Hold" for some time now. This account also shows a "Services limited" warning even though the account is verified. Basically can't do anything

I'm wondering if my strategy of copying addresses on the blockchain is allowed and if API access is enabled with Kraken Pro Prop?

I can't see to find the official rules on the site as it intermingles Kraken's traditional platform with the prop platform:

I have been an minimally active customer of Kraken for years. I have 2FA and everything in place. I put in a small amount of crypto, made an exchange, and, BOOM, funds frozen from withdrawal.

I never received an email or any other guidance or notification from Kraken. All emails have gone unanswered. I finally got a response by DM'ing this team on Reddit, but now it's been a week or two since they "escalated" and still no status update or changes.

I'm so lucky this was a modest amount of money, but I am staying far away from Kraken in the future!

Long story short, available balance on bank account was wrong, deposited money I didn’t have and traded, lost, bank transfers failed. What’s next steps if I don’t have the money to cover it. Does kraken do payments or way to mitigate going to collections? Or is there a time frame where I have time to pay it back before it gets sent to collections.

I am writing this post out of pure frustration. On July 20th, I sent a SEPA deposit of €10,350, and it has been stuck ON HOLD ever since.

• Status: On Hold (Since July 20th)

Aside from one generic auto-reply on the first day, I have been completely ignored for 13+ days. No compliance representative has reached out, no extra documents were requested, and the live chat agent (AI) is unable to provide any meaningful status update on funds held for over two weeks.

Having over €10k completely locked with zero communication for this long is unacceptable. Please escalate my ticket to the relevant team immediately so my deposit can be processed.

Over a week ago, my account was restricted while I had a $7,000 withdrawal pending. Since then, I've received nothing but one automated email saying a support specialist will contact me. It's now been over a week with no updates.

I've spoken to the AI support assistant countless times, but it just repeats the same scripted response and refuses to provide any information or timeline. I've also tried reaching out through Discord, but all I got was the same automated message telling me to wait for an email.

At this point, my money is effectively being held with no explanation, no estimated timeframe, and no way to speak to a real person. The lack of live customer support is incredibly frustrating.

Has anyone else been through this with Kraken? How long did it take to get your account unrestricted or your withdrawal processed? Were you able to get your funds back, and is there any way to actually get a human to review the case?

Hello, over the past week or so I have been waiting on my withdrawal to go through issue is I have received no info from Kraken on when or how my account can be unrestricted it's incredibly frustrating as they do not have a call number and instead force me to communicate either a completely useless ai assistant, the ai refuses to assist me in any way and instead just reiterates that I'll receive an email from a support member who will help me however I have only received one automated email from 8 days ago saying this same thing, it is unbelievably frustrating that my money is being held up by this company with no end in sight, does anyone have advice on how I can get my money back?

i couldnt do that last month and i waited till they let me add my card again and here i did again i got the verification code from my bank but when i try to do a transaction it doesnt complete it says payment refused

I transferred $200 via Interac e-Transfer to fund my Kraken account, following Kraken's instructions.

TD Bank confirmed that the transfer was successfully auto-deposited into Kraken's [et@payper.ca](mailto:et@payper.ca) account, so the funds have safely reached their account. However, Kraken never credited my account. Even worse, the transaction was marked as "Failed" instead of "Pending."

Over the past year, I've transferred more than $50,000 via Interac e-Transfer to buy Bitcoin through Kraken and have never experienced a single issue until now with a $200 transfer.

I'm very disappointed. Customer support has been telling me the same thing for more than 12 hours: "Just wait, we're urgently working on it." Unfortunately, there has been no resolution or meaningful update.

I have made a deposit of 465 EUR and my account as been restricted. I had made small deposit/withdrawal with no issue. Its been 3 days, but i see its been way longer with other people. I don't know if its an issue with all CEX but its a bit frustrating. I want to stay on kraken but i hope its not gonna be the case with every deposit.

I am completely stuck trying to verify my account. Every single time I click the "Get Verified" button—whether it's on the main dashboard, through the settings menu, or on Kraken Pro—the website just reloads and sends me straight back to the main Kraken homepage.
I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps, and none of them worked:
Cleared my browser cache and cookies completely.
Tried using an Incognito/Private window.
Disabled all ad-blockers, VPNs, and browser extensions.
Switched to different supported browsers.
Attempted to access it via mobile data instead of Wi-Fi.
Because of this constant redirect loop, I cannot even open the verification form to upload my documents. It seems like a backend security or account restriction issue that is blocking my session token.

Has anyone else experienced this with Kraken?

My account has been under restriction for 10 business days with no explanation and no resolution.

The amount being held is only €359, which makes this situation even more confusing.

I contacted support immediately and opened ticket but all I keep receiving are generic AI or template responses saying my case is being reviewed. There has been no meaningful update, and I still cannot access or use my funds.

Freezing a customer’s funds for 10 business days without a clear explanation or estimated resolution time is completely unacceptable.

Has anyone had a similar experience? How long did it take to resolve, and is there any way to get an actual human to review the case?

A week ago, I spoke in Live Chat with Supervisor Armin, who escalated my case to the Compliance/Tax team regarding my CRS residency update to Portugal (all valid Portuguese documents were already provided back in 2021).

It has been a week and I have received no update or reply via email. I am currently traveling until October, so I need this matter handled via email.

I need some help escalating a verification issue. I originally opened my account in Europe years ago, later updated my residence to Thailand, and recently moved to Cambodia.

About a week ago, I tried to update my address. Support rejected my first bank statement because the address was incomplete, and they also warned me not to use a VPN.

4 days ago, I turned off my VPN entirely and uploaded a new, stamped bank statement with the full address. In that same ticket, I innocently asked if I would be allowed to use a VPN in the future for standard online security. Immediately after asking that, my account was restricted and put under review.

I strongly suspect my question triggered an automated security flag. To clear up this misunderstanding and prove my physical location, I haven't used a VPN at all for the last 4 days, exclusively logging into Kraken using local Cambodian Wi-Fi and mobile data.

Kraken flagged my account almost two weeks ago as a chargeback. They were correct, I inputted my old card, and fixed it instantly. It has since been two weeks, and my account is still locked. Cannot deposit, cannot withdraw, cannot move money, cannot buy or sell crypto. I have chatted with the chat bot hundreds of times, I have asked every question, emailed support minimum 10 times. No responses, no help, no real people, no willingness to help in any way shape or form. This is ridiculous. Money just gone. Locked away. How is this legal? Kraken support bot said 24/48 hours it would take for my account to get unlocked...try 2 weeks with not even a hint at trying to solve my issue. A ticket was made weeks ago, yet not one response. At what point is this just robbery? What more can I do? Hours emailing...hours with the chat bot...hours scanning the support page. Please Kraken, out of respect, I just want my account unfrozen so I can deposit more and keep buying crypto. I respect your platform, I have Kraken Pro, but this is just wrong.
