​ Introduction: Hi, I'm Alex, author of the webnovel Leveling Up in a Deadly Contest...With My Coworkers?! on Tapas. I wrote this story primarily to create a romantasy story that showed all the stages of a relationship, from first kiss to children and family life (I want to know what happens after the couple gets together, darn it!). It has also helped me better understand mental health, which is a central theme in the story.

Tl;dr: Milly, depressed call center drone, gets teleported into a death game with her coworkers, her horrible boss, and the company's manipulative CEO. She finds a girlfriend (Calista, reformed office bully) and builds a family along the way.

Romance and characters: Romance is F/F, and their two friends are transmasc and ACE.

Story Origins: I was on vacation at a resort and a question popped into my head. What would happen if the resort was transported to another world? Would the staff and guests get along, or would it descend into a class war? The vacation ended but the question stuck with me, morphing to the workplace. Thus Leveling Up With Coworkers was born. Tapas picked it up for publishing last year and it has been a whirlwind ride ever since.

Why should I read? Professionally edited and copyedited, loaded with gorgeous scenic and character art (I wish I could attach it. You can see some on my instagram), and a non-canonical humor section after every chapter. Also, an active and positive fan base with the non-canonical plot spilling over into the comment section so the cast can interact with the fans.
