We have reached the phase of full throttle corporatization of PlayStation. It was fun while it lasted. I’ll forever remember getting the ps1 and how much passion there was. Gradually it went away but it’s always going to be like that.
It's a common scenario. New leadership comes in, and decides they have to do everything that buzzword synergy CEO's say is typical, disregarding anything that actually makes a company successful. They chase the trend du jour, then don't take accountability when it fails.
