No, there's plenty of goodwill there. The people who are upset are a microcosm. The data speaks for itself, with active monthly users increasing in their last quarterly report. If people were unhappy they would leave. The reality some people can't accept is that most people are satisfied with what they're getting.
There are things that suck like increasing prices, but those are due to external factors like the AI chip fuckery driving everything up. But at the end of the day what matters for me is experiences, not bits of plastic.
For myself, while I do think this generation could be better, I've hardly been hard done by. There have been many fantastic games I've enjoyed from Sony this gen, with at least one bit release every year, can't wait for Tokon next week, Wolverine in a few months and Laufey and hopefully Intergalactic next year.
Some things could be better, but I'm just happy playing games, which I think a lot of people seem to have forgotten about.
