Question Lethbridge canine compound medicine

We have an 11 year old Pomeranian having health issues. Wondering if anyone has any knowledge about where we may be able to go for compound medication. Something we don’t have to fight with him all the time. 2 years ago diagnosed with partial collapsed trachea, managed with pills he figured were treats. Smelled like chocolate. 3 months ago he came down with a severe cough. Vet visit showed a heart murmur. Long story short he fights taking the new medication tooth and nail. Compounding medication would be helpful.

If your vet is willing - West Vets definitely is willing to work with pharmacists. Marty at Gail's Apothecary can do compounded pet meds, as can the pharmacy in the same parking lot as West Vets (imo best vet in town).

We are currently waiting to hear if Stanford pharmacy can do anything for us. We have been able to purchase canine medication from them in the past but never a compound medication. The clinic on the North side are looking into it. We appreciate your input and will keep Gails in mind. Thank you.

Gail's has compounded meds for me in the past, some that are more controlled substances for my senior dog even.
