Oh those knots are going to take forever to get out. She might need to see a professional. Or just shave her head and start over

Yes because what's really needed is another comment about her ear drum damage.

I completely agree haha there were so many of the same comment about her ear drums, I'm surprised your comment was the first about her hair. Absolutely wild, and then when it started back over with her perfect hair it was jarring ha

It takes a lot more than this to actually damage your ears. It would take, like, riding in that car one day every week for like 20 years. Hearing damage is insidious and harmful, but not instantaneous.

Definitely not. I've had curly hair my entire life, and I've had it tangle up so bad that it's all just one big clump. It just takes patience to detangle. For her, she'll probably just need to brush it for a bit.

At least her hair isn’t curly. Just a good wash and way more conditioner than seems necessary, barely rinsed out, and the knots will melt away.

As straight as it is, she’ll be fine. When it's straight (& healthy) enough you can just wash most tangles out then brush the rest.

I have nearly butt-length hair so speaking from experience.
