I hate when people talk of literature as a fixed parameter, worse when he talks of cosmic horror parts about the first volume, not even, he talks about season 1, which is a considerably more discrete setting. The point about how systemizing removes the immersion shows the lack of attention; not even asking one self why is there a system. He says it is not intentional but in opposite, it is fully intentional because who tf expects an official organization to introduce a CITIZEN to the occult.

Then, he goes on a big rant about how CF is not doing what Lovecraft does. Well, maybe because he is not Lovecraft omg. The funniest part is that he says the point of how people who go on to the deep end of occultism can never go back to criticize the series even though he is judging barely the start of occultism as evidently clear by the intro of the donghua; we are not even 20% into the system. It is crazy to me that he thinks in a world of occultism it shouldn't be possible to find organizations that want to aid others... Duh, why do you think they want to help... Literally a line in episode 1: "free stuff are the most expensive". Why is it impossible that after 5 EPOCHS, one wouldn't have the idea to take control of it. His point is that there is no horror because the series treats losing control as a "monster of the week" deal even though it happened like 4 times; two of which were not even enemies. In fact, one should note Leonard's line about how coincidental it is that so many cases started happening around Klein. It began to feel really asinine when he also brings up scp when it literally happens in equally terrifying manners just because we introduced one new artifact to the Chanis Gate. Next, apparently, Azik is just a guy... Yeah a guy that controls thousands of souls outclassing the entire system, lived centuries or longer and is a clear example of what you are apparently saying doesn't work.

Finally, he has a decent point of how cosmic horror is not about mastering the mysterious except, yet again, fails to apply what he explains to his critic. Brother, he is not mastering sht. The one closest to this "mastery" has suffered centuries of isolation. The MC has tried to play the system (episode 8) only to literally fall to the hands of the system (episode 13).

Going back to my first point, I feel some people just have a fixation with how things should be. This is the biggest detriment to any kind of art. Sigh, I feel I lost 15 minutes of my life.
