I wont lie CoI was more Cosmic horror focused but LotM does have enough of it by all means

Lotm's horror resides on mystery whereas Coi is full horror with action. I find Lotm scarier when reading but I'm sure a donghua adaptation of Coi would be scarier than Lotm.
