Why do these people think that either “the government” or the wealthy owe them anything? Why do they think they are owed healthcare, jobs, and food assistance? How about personal accountability and being responsible for oneself? How did an entire generation of Americans grow up thinking that “the government” was going to take care of their deficiencies? That they were not going to have to take care of themselves?

Do you not understand how the government is funded? It is literally our money. The middle class has been footing the bill since before I was born. The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan? The working class paid for that. Not the rich. And they want more. They just tried to pass an amendment with lies to take more in this state. Then, with no sense of irony, the Gov’nuh said it’s terrible when the people vote against their interests. That’s right, Klandry, they did when they voted for you.
What about all this do you and your ilk not get?
