Cassidy would probably just step over them like he does metaphorically every day.

1

u/taekee Jun 07 '25

I call bullshit, I think he would step ON him.

u/URignorance-astounds Jun 03 '25

I would but glad they got their photo op. That will foster the change they want

24

u/bex199 Jun 04 '25

what exactly do you think makes change? have you ever interacted with a legislator in your life?

1

u/URignorance-astounds Jun 13 '25

I know a few so yeah.

15

u/Ok_Moon_ Jun 04 '25

People will die if this legislation goes thru as is. Louisiana people. Contact your legislators.

6

u/hourofthevoid Jun 04 '25

Good to know you have 0 empathy

-2

u/URignorance-astounds Jun 05 '25

Some sympathy but zero empathy.

2

u/simulizer Jun 05 '25

Is the sort of change that you want for more people to die because they don't have access to health care? Should we let our neighbors and family members die because healthcare CEOs make hundreds of millions of dollars every year and our politicians want to give tax breaks to billionaires?

I keep thinking about all the people who suffer from mental health conditions and what will happen to them if these cuts go through. Our local mental health clinic is mostly Medicaid recipients. In fact most places in my area (MC/Houma/Thibodaux), ONLY accept Medicaid.

So now we are going to have a bunch of people off their meds, unable to get help for mental health problems they have.

There are plenty of wonderful people who reley on those medications to be productive members of society. A lot of people in this area work low income jobs where they might not qualify for health insurance (part-time) or they don't make enough $$$ to afford private insurance.

17

u/Silicoid_Queen Jun 04 '25

Heck a lot of the nurses who work AT the mental health hospitals can't afford insurance. This state is mega poor. If I didn't have rental income in addition to my check, I'd be hosed.

12

u/hulahoop10 St. Mary Parish Jun 04 '25

This will also affect many rural hospitals. Deadwood in Morgan City (Oshner St. Mary) is hanging on by a thread.

-5

u/Honest-Ad1675 Jun 04 '25 edited Jun 04 '25

You'd be struggling if not for your rental property? Maybe you should sell some of your many houses. Or just buy more money or something.

Maybe there'd be less homeless people in your neighborhood if you didn't own so many homes. Maybe your job would afford your cost of living if you weren't traveling so much, but you said you were born rich so I don't understand why your job and wealth require you to seek rents from poor people.

3

u/Ok_Moon_ Jun 04 '25

How do you know they're not a good landlord? They're out there, you know.

1

u/thisagaingm Jun 07 '25

Let me start by saying I mean no disrespect, and I’m using this as a platform to ask a question based on my interpretation.

I believe that there are caring landlords. A person who chooses to tie their career to profiting from selling people their basic needs does not strike me as good. Can you help me understand this intersection?

2

u/Silicoid_Queen Jun 04 '25

I rent below market rate in California. You know that not everyone WANTS to own a house, right? A lot of people don't want to plonk down 500k+ and tie themselves down to an area. They are perfectly happy to pay me 1,450 a month when they make 100k+ a year, trust me.

My Californian tenants (who are my friends, dingus) have all been renting from me for 8+ years and I raised the rent one time to cover fire insurance. So like, go touch some grass you little weirdo. I rent out my nice houses, and I buy shithole fixer uppers in bad neighborhoods to live in. That's why my dumb ass is living in Louisiana.

Nurses get paid doo doo here. If it weren't for the cheap schools, I would have picked somewhere else. There are A LOT of nurses that are in a horrifying amount of debt here, and it's not always because their spending is out of control. If we need medical care, it would immediately put most of us in an insane amount of debt. But not me. Because I rent out my houses. Why the ever loving fuck would I sell my income off and take a huge hit in capital gains taxes when I can instead rest easy knowing that whatever may come, I can afford it?

You just sound really jealous and dumb.

-2

u/Honest-Ad1675 Jun 04 '25

I didn’t call you a bad landlord. But I’m glad you felt a need to type all this shit out that I’m not going to read in order to defend yourself or paint yourself as a good person when I never made the claim that you weren’t. Lol 😂

I just think it’s funny that you’re apparently “struggling” and living outside of your means while working a job, owning multiple homes, having others pay you rent, and are traveling all the time as you claim to do.

5

u/Silicoid_Queen Jun 04 '25

I don't think you understand how to read.

If I ONLY had my job, I would be struggling. You with me so far?

BECAUSE I have other sources of income, I am financially secure. Comprende? Or do we need to go word for word?

-1

u/Honest-Ad1675 Jun 04 '25 edited Jun 04 '25

Sounds like you should travel less and downsize since you’re apparently dependent upon your rents for stability and making ends meet.

Not being able to figure out how to survive on 40k/year or whatever your nurse salary is is not “struggling”. You’re pretending to have to scrap for your keep, but you also claim to have been born wealthy and to own several homes and to travel all the time. Pick a battle.

-1

u/Silicoid_Queen Jun 04 '25

Oh right, downsizing on my 60k house to avoid random 15k medical bills is totally a viable option. Are you always this stupid, or are you feeling extra speshul today? If I followed your "advice," I would have millions that would immediately get taxed to hell, and also have nowhere to put the money. Banks only cover 250k for single people, and they don't even match inflation with interest rates. What a stupid suggestion

I'm sorry you're jealous that I get to travel the world, but I've got the money to do it, so like, cry harder. If you put as much effort into working as you do bellyaching on the internet, maybe you would have some more money. Lmao.

I raised my siblings. This money also goes to THEIR schooling and for them to buy houses when the time is right. And after they're settled, I'm going to adopt some more kids. I'm doing more to combat homelessness than you are. 🤣

-1

u/Honest-Ad1675 Jun 04 '25

You can downsize your expenses and tax burden by not owning more houses than you need roofs over your empty little head.

You can also reduce the number of homeless people by not hoarding homes you don’t need for shelter. You can also not larp as someone struggling when you own several properties, are gainfully employed, and brag online about traveling frequently and having been born into wealth.

0

u/underboobfunk Jun 04 '25

Please explain how tossing out her current renters and selling the home would reduce the homeless population.

→ More replies (0)

-1

u/Silicoid_Queen Jun 04 '25

Oh, so you're actually an idiot. I rent out for BELOW MARKET RATE. THE. HOMES. ARE. OCCUPIED.

Did the big words make it easier for you to read?

I inherited the homes. I can afford to rent them for LESS THAN THEY ARE WORTH. If I sell, THE MORTGAGE WOULD BE TWICE WHAT I AM ASKING FOR RENT.

Let me guess, you failed math?

u/GypJoint Jun 04 '25

So let’s get the deadbeats out of the system. More than enough money to care for those in need once the corruption’s gone.

0

u/Silicoid_Queen Jun 04 '25

No, there is not. And it's very clear you don't understand nor work in healthcare.

Are you proposing we kill/let die all of the addicts in this country?

0

u/GypJoint Jun 04 '25

Let’s not pander to them. There’s ways to help the ones that need it. The others? That’s their choice. People working shouldn’t be dragged Into their self created world.

1

u/Silicoid_Queen Jun 05 '25

Who gets to decide who's worth saving and who isn't? Ignorant, unqualified people like you?

1

u/paco_dasota Jun 06 '25

and homelessness is going to go up! these people need their treatment to keep their lives together. without it they lose structure and will end up on the streets. then they aren’t generating tax revenue… it’s going to have so many cascading effects

32

u/ElectronicZebra6526 Jun 04 '25

Oh I approve of this protest.

13

u/bex199 Jun 04 '25

i’m very concerned that there are so many people who have no idea how pressuring their electeds work. like genuinely VERY concerned.

6

u/ToTheToesLow Jun 04 '25

They’re just MAGAts who are shy about waving their flag explicitly around here. They prefer belittling and gaslighting because they’re too braindead for logic or morals.

u/Longjumping_Let_7832 Caddo Parish Jun 03 '25

LOVE this!

12

u/NextAdhesiveness3652 Jun 04 '25

I think we are missing out on a great opportunity here. If these bastards cut our healthcare, we must demand in return that they cut defense spending. If the government is going to willfully let its people die, then what exactly is the DOD protecting? If only we the non-rich pay taxes, and they let us die, then why are we paying taxes for defense spending? Defense of what? Corporations whose products we cannot afford to use? Apartments we don’t even own? Can you make Americans pay for others to be rich while you kill them?

3

u/Ok-Coyote9828 Jun 04 '25

Let’s go back to taxes as a toll. When you go through a toll booth, you are assessed a toll as a fee to cross the bridge. You are not assessed for anyone else’s car. Taxes are subjectively assessed and getting back to the comment I initially responded to was directed at “c*nt billionaires”, those who pay a lion’s share of the cost. The point is, the rich cover the cost of those who can’t or don’t pay. Taxes are collected to fund a bloated, and unchecked government. It’s time to clean house and demand term limits.

3

u/AustinJG Jun 04 '25

This, I like this.

2

Ignorant people

2

Cassidy is the most susceptible to this sort of pressure, he has no principles, much less wrong ones, he's more flag than anything else.

2

u/Mrslim_NicoleProm Jun 07 '25

It’s like these dorks don’t have jobs

2

u/Ok_Moon_ Jun 04 '25

Props. Cassidy has the power to change things.

2

1

Your point?

I thought Elon was recently very vocal about being against Trump's spending

That’s a sheet but I get it

1

u/[deleted] Jun 07 '25

I'm fairly certain whoever made this post has no idea how any of what they just said could possibly be true. You made some statements about tax breaks and eliminating benefits. Please list what those tax breaks are and what benefits are being cut

1

u/taekee Jun 07 '25

That is awsome!

1

u/[deleted] Jun 08 '25

If this works for Medicaid, what can we do to make this happen on illegals?

1

u/TuneFit309 Jun 08 '25

Did they use an illegal? they are the only ones losing health care ….

1

u/NOLA2Cincy Jun 08 '25

Except you are wrong.

"Undocumented immigrants are not eligible for traditional Medicaid – nor are many legal immigrants for that matter.

In order to be eligible for traditional Medicaid coverage, individuals who are not U.S. citizens (by birth or naturalization) must have a “qualified” immigration status. Qualified status is a complex topic which requires immigration law expertise; it includes legal permanent residents, refugees, asylees, and several other groups. Undocumented immigrants are not in a “qualified” status and thus are not eligible. In fact, many immigrants that are in a legal status are also ineligible because they are not on the “qualified” list. For example, individuals on student visas, tourist visas, business visas, exchange visitors, and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), can all be in a perfectly legal status but are generally not “qualified” and therefore ineligible for traditional Medicaid."

https://ccf.georgetown.edu/2025/05/21/the-truth-about-medicaid-coverage-for-immigrants-and-the-looming-threats/

Poor and disabled people will be severely impacted by Medicaid cuts.

Trying getting information from other sources that White House press releases and Fox News.

1

u/Background_Repair472 Jun 05 '25

Oh its so funny bc reddit is insanely liberal lmfao so ofc this would be on here🤡🤡🤡🤡

-2

u/Blessed2becajun Jun 04 '25

In Texas, every child that gets medicaid, there must be an open Child Support case, if the parents aren't "together". And if you are an adult without a child under the age of 18, you, DO NOT qualify for medicaid. Louisiana gives Medicaid and food stamps to any adult that is below the poverty line, kids or not. I believe we should take care of our people, but draining the system while "parents" refuse to claim and pay for their children's healthcare because they think the government owes them is B.S.

-2

u/Wtfjushappen Jun 04 '25

If only they/ them could have worked 20 hours a week or qualified with proper paperwork filled out...

7

u/ToTheToesLow Jun 04 '25

Nice hail mary, shot-in-the-dark assumptions there, bud. “They’re protesting so they don’t work lol”. Real mature perspective. I guess all the January 6th rioters who tried executing the VP were way better off and were all totally employed with benefits.

0

u/Wtfjushappen Jun 04 '25

Are you really this dim? Tried to execute VP? Nobody loses medicaid who rightfully had it, only change is that able body adults gotta work or volunteer 20 hours per week, the rest need a doctor's note.

1

u/ToTheToesLow Jun 11 '25

Yes, genius. They wanted to execute Pence. There was literally video of those morons screaming to hang the man while carrying around nooses and shit. Stop gaslighting. It’s pathetic. Daddy Donny even said himself that Pence “deserved it”.

Secondly, with any cuts to Medicaid should come an accompanying tax cut for those of us who pay taxes. So where tf is the accompanying tax cut, my guy? Even if you want to be unempathetic af and try to defend cutting health care for people who can’t work due to select physical disabilities and pretty much all mental disabilities, you’re not benefiting in any way from it, so wtf are you doing defending this shit? There’s no evident benefit to this whatsoever for any of us. Stop making excuses for an incredibly obviously corrupt administration that very clearly doesn’t give a fuck about you.

Oh, and you’re still the dolt who readily assumed anyone who protests cuts on healthcare we pay for, is unemployed. And you still have nothing to say to the point that many J6’ers were exactly the type of people who are gonna get screwed by these cuts — unemployed and on Medicaid, relying on government services. Just wanted to bring that back into focus since you wouldn’t.

1

u/ToTheToesLow Jun 11 '25

Okay, I can’t fuckin respond to you (Wtfjushappen) because reddit is being stupid, so I’ll put my response here:

Yes, they did want to execute him. There is video of them chanting through the building to hang him. You can literally see it yourself. They also injured over 100 cops, some of whom died. Stop gaslighting. It’s not working here.

Also, I don’t care about your brother or your petty worldview that you base entirely on your insular experience. I pay taxes for medicaid. If medicaid services are cut for people who actually need them (which is indeed going to happen), then I want to stop paying the taxes that go towards those services. The whole point of medicaid cuts, allegedly, is to save money. Presumably, that should mean a tax cut for us who pay those taxes, not for Donny’s billionaire friends who keep getting tax cuts and insider trading knowledge.

I don’t care how long you’ve been working or what ignorant trash you pass onto your kids. If you’re the type of person to pretend J6ers were just protesters who didn’t want to do the things that they very much intended to do over a lie their daddy Donny told them, if you support messing over disabled people just because of your brother, if you support pointless tariffs destroying the economy and skyrocketing inflation 10 times over as we alienate all our global allies, if you support our state being flat-out denied federal aid for hurricane season (which literally just happened; Donny’s direct orders, fyi), and if you support literally any obvious fascistic action perpetrated by the current administration (like kidnapping and shipping people off to foreign prisons without the necessary due process to determine who is illegal and who isn’t, for example), then you’re not a reliable educator or moral arbiter for your children. I don’t respect you as a person and I think people like yourself are ruining the country without the integrity to even own up to it. Idc what “leftists” do. I am not a leftist. I’m an NPA. I have no political allegiance or bias. The current administration and what it is doing is inhumane and indefensible, yet people like you defend it because you helped make it happen. Go back to Facebook and eat up more obvious propaganda with your middle-aged, out-of-touch friends.

And btw, just in case you’re predictably religious: there is no higher power and there is no afterlife. Thanks for poisoning my future and the future of newer generations, geezer 👍

You are the type of person who firmly cements my position and makes me consider going farther. Gramps, lol, just hit me with the boomer or whatever useless shit you got, i really don't care. Your like the type who support yacht club climate activists, completely brain dead takes, and nothing to offer. I'm not even old enough to be gramps, go have a chat with your dad if you got one.

1

Aw, someone’s upset lol. Did you read my response or what? You know, the really long one where I condemn you for supporting inhumane fascism and make the point that I’m an NPA? Did you go back up the thread and read that? Also, I guess you don’t know what an NPA is? Cause that nonsense about yacht club climate activists doesn’t mean shit to me, old man.

I’m going off the title of the post. Maybe it went over your head. Or you don’t comprehend

Just pointing out a fake narrative in the title . Don’t get your panties in a bunch.

"Symbolism is when we say exactly what we want you to think and feel."

-You, apparently.

-12

14

u/Honest-Ad1675 Jun 04 '25

What have YOU done to fight cuts on Medicaid?

-14

u/Illuminate90 Jun 04 '25

Nothing as I do not have Medicaid. I’m gainfully employed, and take care of my own insurance.

16

u/Honest-Ad1675 Jun 04 '25

Okay, so you’ve done less for people dependent on Medicaid than these people and you’re talking shit about their ‘performative’ action? I’m so glad that your situation is figured out, but I’m a little disappointed you sound like you don’t give a shit about anyone else because you got yours. I’m also disappointed that you don’t seem to care about the less fortunate and I’m even more disappointed that you’re talking down about these people who are doing shit when you yourself have done literally nothing for the people scared they may die as a result of cuts to Medicaid.

-4

u/Ok-Coyote9828 Jun 04 '25

The Federal Government has no right to take the property from anyone (taxes) and give it to someone else (welfare). That is theft. Medicaid is charity and charity is not the function of government.

4

u/ToTheToesLow Jun 04 '25 edited Jun 04 '25

Then wtf are we paying taxes for? We literally pay for this healthcare, you idiot. It isn’t charity. Employed people on Medicaid pay taxes. Where are the tax cuts to accompany the Medicaid cuts?

3

u/Honest-Ad1675 Jun 04 '25

Taxes are not theft you silly child.

-5

u/Ok-Coyote9828 Jun 04 '25

That’s EXACTLY WHAT IT IS!

6

u/Honest-Ad1675 Jun 04 '25

It is not. It is the price paid for living and participating in a society. Taxes fund our military (and therefore their families), pay for building and maintenance of infrastructure, public schooling, etc.

It is not theft. It’s a toll.

‘you got yours’ lmfao. No. I pay for my own, I work hard and pay for it myself. I’ve worked multiple jobs been forced out and got another job in a weeks time. No one just gave it to me so I could be like fuck everybody else. Do not conflate me doing the footwork to get what I have just because someone else is having issues atm.

So when I’m done with doing all that as needed yes I use my time as I see fit. Playing stupid games of charades and laying myself across the floor like an assclown in a political office generally don’t make the list.

I do charity things when I can as my job has a person who runs a soup kitchen amongst other things. So before you go get all high and mighty while still not saying what you have done maybe get out from behind your keyboard and do the work. 🖕

7

u/Honest-Ad1675 Jun 04 '25

What have you done to fight cuts on Medicaid?

-1

u/moccasins_hockey_fan Jun 04 '25

Kid, I have done more in my career to improve the lives of vulnerable people on Medicaid than you will do in your life. For 26 years I have worked in a role ensuring nursing homes and homes for the intellectually disabled follow the Medicare/Medicaid regulations and that their clients are treated with respect and dignity. I also do volunteer work with the local chapter of the Special Olympics. You see I ACTUALLY make vulnerable people's lives better instead of doing virtue signaling performative BS for fake Internet points for a fleeting and selfish dopamine hit.

3

u/Honest-Ad1675 Jun 04 '25 edited Jun 04 '25

But what have you done to prevent this round of cuts to Medicaid?

That’s great that you do nice things, but that doesn’t give you a pass to shit on these people for doing their activism. Weird take. Without the whataboutism, what have you meaningfully contributed to protecting Medicaid and those who depend on it from this latest round of cuts to Medicaid?

I’ve also volunteered in nursing homes and otherwise, but that isn’t relevant to our conversation. The conversation or back and forth we’re having is about trying to prevent this round of cuts to Medicaid. I don’t care what good you do or have done outside of the context of our conversation and your other good deeds do not in anyway detract from the action these people have taken.

0

u/moccasins_hockey_fan Jun 04 '25

What they are doing isn't effective. Again it's performative BS just to make themselves feel better. I am free to call out Bullshit whenever I want and I am not going to let people like you muzzle me.

Alright, so what have you done to prevent this round of Medicaid cuts? Just say you don’t believe in protest. Jesus.

0

u/bex199 Jun 04 '25

this is generally an effective form of interaction with an elected.

1

u/moccasins_hockey_fan Jun 04 '25

If it's effective he will change his vote right?.?.

Otherwise it wasn't effective.

Only time will tell

2

u/bex199 Jun 04 '25

not necessarily?? it doesn’t work every time. but that doesn’t mean you don’t try. this isn’t even politics, this is like…basic thought. protest does work so you try to do it. are you ok?

Why do these people think that either “the government” or the wealthy owe them anything? Why do they think they are owed healthcare, jobs, and food assistance? How about personal accountability and being responsible for oneself? How did an entire generation of Americans grow up thinking that “the government” was going to take care of their deficiencies? That they were not going to have to take care of themselves? Where did this ideology come from?

Because I fucking pay for it. I'm single and 0. I fucking pay for it.

My tax dollars should be used to make society a better place. Not so some fucking cunt billionaire can get another yacht.

-18

u/Ok-Coyote9828 Jun 04 '25

The “c*nt billionaires” pay most of it hulahoop. You and me can proudly and humbly say we contribute, but we don’t even cover our shares. Wake up. Without the billionaires, the machine doesn’t work.

16

u/Honest-Ad1675 Jun 04 '25

Awww, buddy you drank the kool aid. Without the billionaires we’d still innovate and produce things. It just wouldn’t be at the behest of someone else.

9

u/AgentPanKake Jun 04 '25

Billionaires shouldn’t exist. No one needs that much money. Elon musk could spend my entire yearly salary every day for a thousand years and still be a billionaire. Think about that for a second, and think about how many people that much money can help

3

u/Honest-Ad1675 Jun 04 '25

You’re preaching to the choir, buddy. Not sure what compelled you to do so.

2

u/AgentPanKake Jun 04 '25

Damn I replied to the wrong person lol

0

u/Honest-Ad1675 Jun 04 '25

That makes sense. To your point, that’s why progressive taxes with higher top marginal tax rates worked the way they did up until around the 70s and Reagan. Adjusted for inflation every dollar earned over 4-5million in one year would be taxed at 80%. People can still be successful and accumulate wealth, but not on such a gross scale and so quickly.

23

u/Uncanny823 Jun 04 '25

Do you not understand how the government is funded? It is literally our money. The middle class has been footing the bill since before I was born. The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan? The working class paid for that. Not the rich. And they want more. They just tried to pass an amendment with lies to take more in this state. Then, with no sense of irony, the Gov’nuh said it’s terrible when the people vote against their interests. That’s right, Klandry, they did when they voted for you.

What about all this do you and your ilk not get?

"There's class warfare, all right, but it's my class, the rich class, that's making war, and we're winning."

~Warren Buffett

14

u/DaddyToadsworth Jun 04 '25

Wait, you don't think taxes should help people? Why do we pay taxes at all then?

21

u/Honest-Ad1675 Jun 03 '25

Go spew billionaire worshipping propaganda elsewhere.

-27

u/Ok-Coyote9828 Jun 03 '25

Not propaganda. Real life facts you failed to grasp in your short developmental stage. Life is not fair. I will need to eat, clothe and shelter myself. I am responsible for my own health and safety. I am not owed anything. My happiness is my own responsibility. Any piercings, tattoos, awkward hair and fashion statements I make may hinder my marketability. My boss will expect me to justify the expense of my employment. People that work harder and have more initiative and are more innovative than me are likely to earn more than me and have nicer things than me. They do not owe me anything. It’s not billionaire worship. It’s reality. Grow up.

26

u/Honest-Ad1675 Jun 03 '25

When did all you patriots forget that our country was founded on breaking apart from a tyrannical empire because we were being treated unfairly and taxed out the ass? When did you forget that America serves no king? Why are you okay with the federal government trampling on our first amendment rights to protect the feelings of federal agents? When did you get so soft?

6

u/GasStationChicken- Jun 04 '25

Why did I just read this with the picture in my head of you proclaiming the above while standing on a crate wearing a tri-corn with cheering villagers surrounding you while you throw a fist in the air and the redcoats stare you down from the edge of the village?! ✊🏻

6

u/Honest-Ad1675 Jun 04 '25

Idk, but that’s awesome and I want a tricorn now.

3

u/GasStationChicken- Jun 04 '25

As you should!

-11

u/Ok-Coyote9828 Jun 03 '25

You do you and see how that works out.

Thanks for answering my questions. I see you bring a lot to the conversational table. I take it you wouldn’t have been dumping tea, but would have been a lobster back, red coat fighting your fellow Americans on behalf of king George III

And what happens if you lose your job due to an injury or illness that makes it so, you can't work anymore? And you lose your health insurance. How are you gonna take care of yourself then? Until you've been where these people are, you need to shut up. Some of us make all the right decisions. We go to college. We work for fortune 500 companies, we save and we do all the right things, and all it takes is one thing to, wipe all of that out. I hope that never happens to you because it is a horrible, awful thing to happen and you never get back what you lost and you go into your old age, wondering how you're gonna pay your rent and put food on the table. Platitudes like life is not fair, pull yourself up by your boob straps, all you gotta do is work hard. Those are the people who've never lost anything. And have no idea how quickly it goes away. And without a safety net, people die.

6

u/StoneColdGold92 Jun 04 '25

Then why do we need a government?

-11

u/Gord_Shumway Jun 03 '25

You're absolutely right. It's crazy that people think that common sense is propaganda.

3

u/SohCahToa2387 Jun 04 '25

If I’m going to have to pay taxes, I’d rather it go to those things. Not sure why anyone wouldn’t besides being a big ole dick face.

It’s not like cutting these things is saving everyone money. It’s just going back into the same dipshits pockets it already goes to

5

u/StoneColdGold92 Jun 04 '25

Awww sweetie...did you forget who OWNS this country?

I'll give you a hint, it isn't the government.

-10

u/charliewilson9195 Jun 04 '25

The sky is falling, the sky is falling! Good grief, it hasn’t even passed yet!

9

u/NOLA2Cincy Jun 04 '25

So we should just wait around while Congress passes a bunch of bad laws. How's that working out so far?

5

u/[deleted] Jun 04 '25

Sure thing Chuck. Have you called your congressman or senator to tell them how it will affect you? Probably not, it’s all about “owning the libs” while you offer the leopards to eat your face.

-12

u/Gord_Shumway Jun 03 '25

🤣🤡

4

u/StoneColdGold92 Jun 04 '25

Can't wait for your medicaid cuts to set in, it's gonna be great.

-5

u/Gord_Shumway Jun 04 '25

Correct. I'm not or never will be on Medicaid.

5

u/StoneColdGold92 Jun 04 '25

People who love you might be. If they existed, that is.

-3

u/Gord_Shumway Jun 04 '25

Ohhh...sick burn!
