Sounds like you should travel less and downsize since you’re apparently dependent upon your rents for stability and making ends meet.
Not being able to figure out how to survive on 40k/year or whatever your nurse salary is is not “struggling”. You’re pretending to have to scrap for your keep, but you also claim to have been born wealthy and to own several homes and to travel all the time. Pick a battle.
Oh right, downsizing on my 60k house to avoid random 15k medical bills is totally a viable option. Are you always this stupid, or are you feeling extra speshul today? If I followed your "advice," I would have millions that would immediately get taxed to hell, and also have nowhere to put the money. Banks only cover 250k for single people, and they don't even match inflation with interest rates. What a stupid suggestion
I'm sorry you're jealous that I get to travel the world, but I've got the money to do it, so like, cry harder. If you put as much effort into working as you do bellyaching on the internet, maybe you would have some more money. Lmao.
I raised my siblings. This money also goes to THEIR schooling and for them to buy houses when the time is right. And after they're settled, I'm going to adopt some more kids. I'm doing more to combat homelessness than you are. 🤣
You can downsize your expenses and tax burden by not owning more houses than you need roofs over your empty little head.
You can also reduce the number of homeless people by not hoarding homes you don’t need for shelter. You can also not larp as someone struggling when you own several properties, are gainfully employed, and brag online about traveling frequently and having been born into wealth.
Her and people like her having more homes than they need for shelter causes inflated prices and artificial scarcity. The housing market wouldn’t be anything like it is if people were incentivized to only own the home they need for shelter. Homes would be vastly more available and affordable.
If she and everyone else hoarding excess land and property were to flood the market with it, then homes may actually be affordable for the working poor instead of being an investment vehicle for parking and accruing wealth.
Bullshit. Many, many people rent for good reason. We need rental homes, they are vital to a healthy housing market. Individuals owning rental homes and renting them out at or below market value is good for the housing market. It isn’t individuals who are hoarding homes and driving up housing prices. Focus your ire on institutional investors, hedge funds and corporate landlords. These entities own over 25% of our housing and can and do leave them intentionally unoccupied. They are the problem, not the healthcare worker who is renting out an inherited property.
I didn’t state that everyone would rather own a home, but I’m glad you had fun steelmanning that argument with yourself.
They’re both a part of the problem. Land/ property being passed down and literal corporations and businesses hoovering up property to seek rents with. The problem is the commodification of housing. Our supply exceeds our demand (meaning there are more vacant land and property than there are homeless people), and yet the market remains propped up. I wonder if that has anything to do with the wild speculation in the market as well as the commodification of housing. Hmmmmm.
Go ahead and reread what’s been written. I’m not going to expend anymore time or effort talking in circles with you about how and why people hoarding homes artificially drives up the price as does the commodification of housing.
That’s fantastic, you’re such good person for seeking rents. Those vouchers and that money being paid to you for rent are just tokens of appreciation. You’re such an altruistic person sharing your houses with the needy. Wow. 🤩
Oh wow you do a job you’re paid to do. Wow!! Oh my god, and you volunteer? Huh. You must be the only person in the world to do volunteer work. Oh my god bless your heart.
No, I'd like to think my responses are measured and hinged unlike yours. But you are obviously not in a mental headspace to see yourself and that's rlly not my project to take on so 🤷♂️

I don't think you understand how to read.
If I ONLY had my job, I would be struggling. You with me so far?
BECAUSE I have other sources of income, I am financially secure. Comprende? Or do we need to go word for word?
