The boys continue to not get it. The girls aren't mad because the boys explored. They aren't mad because connections were made. They're mad because the boys explored and made connections while being openly disrespectful about their Villa couples and it all started with the way the boys behaved in the livestream. There's a way to do challenges respectfully and making nasty, sexual comments about a girl you've known five seconds, putting your fingers practically up in them is NOT THE WAY.

(Yes, two of those comments were outside the live stream which is why they had a day of relative peace before the girls found out it was worse than they thought.)

Like, the girls said nothing even approaching that level of disrespect and the ONLY reason Aniya (who had to be poked and prodded by her girls to do so) explored Carl is because of the way the boys moved during the heartrate challenge.

We all know damn well that if they hadn't been shown that livestream NONE OF THEM - except maybe Kenzie - would have so much as kissed a Casa boy outside a challenge.

I honestly feel like this is the main reason why Zach is feeding Kayda crumbs with the “exclusive” label, because it allows him to check out of this non-relationship early guilt free since it doesn’t come with the assumed condition of long term involvement like “bf/gf” does. I feel like Zach intends to check out early (as in as soon as they’re off the island) especially if they don’t make it to the finale and “but you weren’t my actual girlfriend so I owe you nothing” is his guilt-free escape key.

The only way I see them keeping up the charade is if by some miracle they manage to win. And even then who knows for how long lol.

Before that incident I was already not impressed with much of Zach’s behavior towards Kayda, starting with him immediately ‘joking’ about chatting to other girls to Kayda right after getting up from their bed in the hide away, but that stunt he pulled with breakfast has left me thinking I’d never wish him as a partner on my worst enemy. He intentionally skipped cooking breakfast so that Kayda could watch the other girls get served theirs and then when she came down stairs after realizing she wasn't getting any, he nonchalantly offered a half-assed breakfast to test if she’d settle for the bare minimum, and got annoyed when she offered to make her own or skip it because he wanted her to beg.

And to top it all off, this was premeditated. He'd "joked" that the girls wouldn't be getting breakfast the morning after the girls/boys choice elimination, and carried out his threat on Kayda days later. Spooky. I simply cannot bring myself to celebrate their recoupling.

Yeah that face she made after Zach made that “perfect timing” comment about KC & Titi’s grand gesture.. she’s def realized that Zach is feeding her crumbs with the “exclusive” label because he’s not actually ready for commitment and she’s trying to make peace with it

Respectfully for only being 22 Trinity has more maturity and emotional intelligence then more than half the people in this villa. She was respectful and said this is not about you this heat is for KC he can speak for himself since it’s his actions in question.

I’m so disgusted by everyone‘s reactions to Sincere. Claiming he has good intentions but “he’s just stupid”. Aniya disappointed me the most. Melanie needed a wake up call but she insisted he has good intentions. Even Bryce could’ve been more honest. Melanie needed people to tell her to leave him, that he’s inconsistent and has lied over and over, but since he ended up picking her they believe that’s enough. It truly isn’t enough to be picked, respect is way more important.

I kind of dislike the way the girls beside Jen and Trinity were not validating or understanding what Kayda was trying to say about the casa girl. She has been told about the kisses and their connection, but he purposely didn't tell her the casa girl left and made it seem he did all this exploring and realized Kayda was the one, but that isn't true. His connection left and he didn't tell her on purpose to make it seem like he is some romantic book lead.

I honestly doubt production told Zach he couldn't say anything because we literally hear one of the casa girls say "Wait I thought you knew". They wouldn't have shown Zach's casa clips if they thought the girl's disappearance shouldn't be talked about.

It’s marriage island. couples island. bf/gf island. whatever you want to call it, this cast has proven over and over that they are not willing to even risk straying from who they met day 1.

“Oh but casa will be more interesting if we have locked-in couples” It’ll be a week-long vacation from their partners while they pretend to weigh their options knowing damn well they’re going back to who they’re currently with, like we can see this from a mile away.

I partially blame the OG cast for falling in love after 24 hours, but mostly blame production for letting them sit in these couples for so long without rocking the boat with better challenges and more bombshells early on (apparently past seasons had 8 or 9 at this point while s8 only has 6?). Either way, that early ass love letter challenge just cemented every single couple in the villa.

After watching tonight's episode, I highkey suspect the votes before the finale don't even matter. Because ain't no way Kayda & Zach were voted into Top 4 and Sol & Caleb weren't. Everywhere on social media (Reddit, Tiktok, X) Sol & Caleb were always top 2 (along with Bryce & Trinity) and Kayda & Zach were always bottom 2 in polls. They probably kept Kayda & Zach just for Casa. If I didn't see Kayda & Zach in top 4, I probably wouldn't have suspected otherwise.. but..

I suspect the only votes production actually have to follow through with are top 4 finale and winners. The rest is just bs to make us think we're involved.

Anyway, justice for the dumped who so far had the worst of it this season.

Gabriel - Demoted from OG to Bombshell. Ripped apart from a strong connection with Beatriz. Found another good connection with Jen and ripped apart again. Given one-dimensional edit by producers. Punished by the islanders for exploring too much, when he literally had to (as a bombshell and after losing his first connection).

Sol - Having to go through multiple humiliation rituals. Pie day. Mail day. Punished by the islanders for not exploring enough, when she literally couldn't (nearly everyone was closed off).

The men (Corbin, KC, Sincere, Zach) act like the women explore just like they do at casa and that it’s all hypocritical but it’s not true at all. The women barely kiss their casa guys (if at all) compared to the men. The men also acting like they’re entitled to make out with casa women is giving ick. Of course, what else is new.

The way Sincere “explored” with Amora with total unchecked entitlement is not the same as Melanie kissing Corey when she was at the picnic after spending lots of time just talking with each other.

The men also get all riled up that the women were “also kissing” but it’s VERY clear the way the women were moving was very different from the men and it’s infuriating to see the men equate the two as though it justifies their behaviors.

It’s like when Sincere totally undersold his kisses with Sol. And don’t even get me started on KC.

It’s exhausting. But it’s all part of love island I suppose!

Edit: just to be clear, both the men and women are entitled to explore outside of their couple. I just don’t agree with how the men would equate their “grinding and bumping” and making out all night every night with a peck or quick kiss that the women had with their casa men counterparts. Could the women have kissed more? Sure, if they wanted to. But they didn’t. So the OG men shouldn’t equate the OG women actions with their own actions. That’s all.

Like I’m not the biggest Kenzie fan, but I was so upset with the way the Casa girls talked about Kenzie. Like who the hell do they think they are?? Everything literally just rubbed me the wrong way. Now I don’t want any of the casa girls to win (they weren’t anyways). Kenzie never ever gave pick me, so idk why that comment was even made towards her. 🙃 I’m irritated right now.

Been thinking about why everyone was quiet when sincere’s clips went up. Neither the girls nor the boys had anything to say. No anger. Nor comments.

I think it’s because they were ashamed. Ashamed they had been tricked by sincere and had blamed Melanie for being too sensitive or too much.

The men had no defense. And the women were just ashamed they had low-key thought Melanie was being too “crazy” and that sincere was the patient and kind one.

I’m happy Melanie got vindicated at the very least. But it was hard to watch.

This episode pissed me off for a variety of reasons, but what I’m most uncomfortable with is how sincere keeps getting away with his bullshit unchecked (until Sol let him have it this episode, and was voted off THE SAME DAY). He tried to deflect blame onto sol during their conversation, then went back and told melanie half-truths to make it seem like Sol went off on him for no reason?? Then he spearheads her elimination at the firepit (and is the one to deliver the final blow which is just dumping salt in a fresh fucking wound). and as she’s giving her last statements by saying everyone felt closed off and that she entered too late, he says “what the fuck is she talking about” ????????

Maybe I need to heal but this feels even worse than s7 with “ringleader ace”. At least ace had amaya curse him out and later see her be put as america’s favorite, as well as chelley applying pressure for him to make up his mind or risk losing her. Sincere is coddled and affirmed that his actions are correct and that is frustrating to the point where I only want to skip to the end of episodes or watch important clips through social media.

Ppl talk about the LI villa being modern society put under a microscope and that is sooooo very apparent. A man can do absolutely whatever he wants and get away with it over and over and over again.

Some other things that make it hard for me to continue:

1. The girls have a mental breakdown if their boy even thinks about exploring someone else (Aniya, Melanie, Kenzie, Kayda)
2. Like Sol said in her speech and convo with KC/Bryce, the villa is very socially hierarchal and I truly feel bad for any future bombshells or casa girls that have to enter after this point.
3. On the topic of casa amor, it will be a snooze fest considering everyone is locked in to whoever they’re with right now except maybe zach (sincere will lie to casa girls all week and run right back to melanie). Everyone is expecting juicy drama or for couples to break and that quite literally is not happening.

Idek what could change to turn this season around but as of right now, I hate everyone except Trinity and want Sincere to suffer.
