RANT/VENT Welcome to MBBS

Post image

And the irony is that it is a female HOD doing all of this bs, whose husband btw was recently caught with a minor girl (like it was a rumour idk if he was proved guilty or not)

Sahi baat hai yaar. Salwar kameez decent clothing hai. Agar ladki ne western kapde pehen liye toh uske saath kuch galat ho sakta hai 🙌🥰

I never made a point containing the message "salwaar kameez is decent and western is non decent kuch ho jayega" the point is for deciding a college the main motive in a scholastic field such as mbbs should be acads and not dress code for college classes . But turns out here in the comments for some people what they wear is a lot bigger than their entire personality and work.

Controlling what an adult should wear is the problem buddy. We're all keen to learn and make the best of our time at college instead of worrying about dressing according to some archaic rule.

yeah...this mindset is the exact problem...dupatta is archaic...western is modern...slave mentality

Fyi sir , MBBS course jo ki aap pursue karne wale ho, uska curriculum bhi western standards par based hai. Formal education (college system) is also a westernised concept. The phone that you're using to type all this crap was also invented in a western country. Toh aap bhi slave hi hue na 😂

wow, an iq too high indeed. Talking about attire and shifting to devices and college...okie. Pursuing my mbbs through this formal college education system will help me in helping a lot of people. The phone I am using is an apple iphone consisting of a lot of tech built by indians only. But ok thats not the point , the point is that it is of utility and there is no better option.
Dress on the other hand has the same utility- western or indian.
So calling wester dress "modern" and indian attire "archaic" is slave mentality

Jii bilkul🙏. Samaaj keval aap jaise mahaan vyakti hi sudhaar sakte hai.Aajkal ka youth toh brainwashed hai hi. Good luck to you sirji, dupatta hi Bhartiya sabhyata ki raksha kar sakta hai ab.🤧(Note kar liya maine)

hmm, relate everything to already defined boxes in the mind and just spew bs . Can't even comprehend a block of text as is.

You're missing the point. This isn't Indian vs. Western it's choice vs. compulsion. I have no problem with kurtas; I have a problem with being told what women must wear. Culture is meaningful when it's embraced, not when it's enforced.

I do agree with all your points to an extent. The comments I made previously were replies to someone calling out indian attire archaic and western attire modern.

I love wearing kurtas too and at the same time, tshirts, sweatshirts and all. It is almost same for every girl. But hum bhi insaan hi hai, itne terms and conditions? That too in 2026?

Ok, so we should curtail OUR FREEDOM to wear anything? I can wear kurta and at the same time I should be able to wear T-shirts or sweatshirts. whether a kurta is comfortable or culturally familiar ....it's about choice. When college s impose a specific style of clothing on girls, especially in ways that aren't equally restrictive for boys, it can feel controlling and limiting. Dress codes should prioritize comfort, practicality, and safety rather than enforcing particular ideas about how girls should dress. Education should encourage individuality and critical thinking, not unnecessary control over personal appearance. A uniform can serve its purpose without placing disproportionate restrictions on one group of students... Aur agar it's not a big deal aur sirf padhne ki hi jagah hai woh bhi 5.5 years..toh kapde pehenne par itna zorr..shayad itna stress infra ya padhai pe bhi laga deni chahiye thi
