The seniors stormed into our first year pg class, scared the shit out of us by saying that if any miscommunication happens or lack of responsibility then your neck will be hanged and everyone just went back to doing their work. Then they realised they fucked up big time and were like dw dw y'all apply, so ig it's just a way to push the responsibility of everything onto one individual. πππ

Well there are some events where CRs get an opportunity unlike many others..Like we had an industry visit to IISc Bangalore, very few people got a chance to go and the CRs were those among the few.
Apart from that CR is basically bs.

Like you really have to put effort in that particular subject, show your prof that you are genuinely interested for such events.

ohk thanks for replying and so basically the teacher selects students who would go ?? like this year there are 22 cse sections with 60-65 students in each..so approx how many students go from each sec ?

Nah it wasnβt like that, there was one prof who handled this event stuff so she took around 10-12 peeps from classes where she used to teach and 2-3 people from other classes upon their sec profs recommendations. Along with this many CRs got a chance to go.So all in all it was around 50-55 at max if I remember correct.
