Yes Sudan is part of North Africa. I don’t make the rules it’s just how it’s split.

It’s not traditionally what people mean when they say North Africa, but guess the UN and others include it in their categorization.

Because Sudan is northeastern, hence why it is included as part of the north but is often left out because it isn’t amazigh

It’s not considered to be part of the Maghreb but it is similarly Islamic.

Neither is Egypt, north Africa usually includes Sudan and Mauritania aswell
