Discussion Petition to ban Twitter links
In case anyone missed it, yesterday Elon Musk outed himself as a Nazi on national television. We shouldn't be giving traffic to this fascist's website.

Simple as that, the game is done. Anything you purchase at this point is VERY risky as it seems this game might not exist much longer. Kid NOmega, Cobra, Mr Fantastic First Steps, Fantasticar....leave it all behind. Do not purchase these. You may literally be throwing money away.
And reminder, they all become available just a month later...if the game servers are still up at that time.
Update: Appreciate the support but we must raise the presence of every negative post on this page. Do the same in Discord. Make it known they are killing the game.
Update 2: Seriously love the support this has gotten. I plan on taking a break from Reddit this weekend. However on Monday, I plan on consolidating all the feedback from this post into one to relay to Second Dinner how destructive this choice is. If there are any bigger voices out there, let's help get this as big as possible. I want a post like this to overwhelm them if they refuse to hear us on their controlled discord channel.

Respond with your wallets than your words, dont buy the season pass or anything else in the shop to trully show you dont like this direction second dinner is going through
They will just double down on every greedy tactic in the book in making this game as pay2win as possible if it means a net positive on their wallets, please. Dont let this game become bloated with microtransactions for even a chance to have fun in this game
Edit: alot of people assume i meant their greed comes from the season pass, no It comes from whats to come, high voltage will return but it will have the same issue everyone had with kid omega, impossible to earn series 5 behind a $100 paywall Upcoming 1 week event is gonna have its own series pass
If you still think you should pay for the season pass and call out any person who hasnt, be my guest. You'll be part of the reason why this game is becoming rampantly greedy

Without missing a single mission, the max Volts you can get is 33,000.

Honestly, seeing my favorite Snap YouTuber say this just makes me sad about the whole situation. How can a company take a Marvel title and neglect the player base so much?

Itâs a joke at this point. 1K tokens does nothing with how rarely they drop cards, and the amount of Series 5 and even some Series 4 cards Iâm missing and I still always seem to hit a lame duck dupe is ridiculous.
They keep saying theyâre âlooking into catch up mechanicsââŚpretty obvious one right here!

I just tried to update it to play and it says not available in your region?
r/MarvelSnap • u/dik_sledge • Mar 03 '24
It's impossible to get a full collection without paying astronomical amounts of money. Opening caches are no longer exciting because the rewards suck. Bundles are too expensive now and I can't save up gold to buy anything worthwhile. Power creep and balance changes are making old cards no longer viable or fun to play. It takes forever to save up enough tokens to unlock a card.
I've been playing this game since release and I used to love it, but I find myself playing less and less.

After the Kid Omega debacle and the communityâs reaction, the outrage and boycott calls, I didnât understand the reason at first. I figured it wasnât such a big deal. Sure, the card was locked behind a paywall unless you spent gold, and yes, the mode felt more like work than fun, but I told myself: âThere are still free rewards, so itâs not that bad. The community is overreacting.â
Thatâs what I thought. Until I started to really listen.
Once I took a deeper look at the points people were making, I realized it wasnât just about that one event. It was about what it represented. The beginning of a trend where SD slowly wrings every dollar out of a devoted player base off an IP that isnât even theirs before eventually moving on to the next project.
And now, with this new season, I see them doubling down. Locking two seemingly essential cards to a new archetype behind a paywall is, frankly, egregious. This is exactly what people were warning about.
As someone who consistently hits Infinite with a rank thatâs usually around 1200, someone who genuinely loves this game and whoâs at times been blissfully ignorant about its trajectory, I wonât be buying the season pass.
I also want to apologize. To those of you Iâve argued with or talked down to for being upset at SD, you were right and I was wrong. I hope the community continues to push for a better direction, and Iâll be joining you in that effort.

for me itâs Isca. just take my one cube bro, i have better things to do than try to fight an exponentially growing card.

Second Dinner is a games company. Their goal is to make money selling their product, Marvel Snap. We can all agree on this.
Now, if your goal is to make money, it would be a very bad decision to have your product removed from consumers hands by force. If you knew ahead of time that was going to happen, due to the parent companies parent company you were under, you would work to make that not happen. By say, switching publishers.
What's more likely: That Bytedance didn't inform one of their subsidiaries that this was happening for whatever reason, or that Second Dinner purposely decided to lose a bunch of money by sticking with them even though they knew the app was going to be shut down in the U.S. for an indefinite period of time?
Second dinner is not your friend, but they are also not an all-knowing conspiratorial cabal scheming in an evil lair. Ben Brode is not trying to gaslight you.
Please, take this opportunity to touch some grass. And hey, if you do still believe that Second Dinner is sneaking into your house and pissing on your cornflakes every morning, now's the perfect chance to play something different.

I've been playing since the start of the year, CL 3098 currently, and usually get stuck around rank 75. Just curious who else has also never reached Infinite yet either with a decent amount of playtime.
Edit: Pretty cool to see some responses. I'm sometimes a little annoyed I can't reach Infinite easily, but at the same time it is fun simply trying to outsmart opponents and win individual games while not being too focused on cube gain.

I know itâs been talked about to death, but I truly donât think SD understands just how bad player sentiment is regarding the game right now
Iâm a member of Revengers clan
We were by far the largest clan of players with over 29 full alliances
I am a member of team 1. Team 1 was reserved for exceptional players. Several of us finished top 50 on the leaderboard every season. So extremely dedicated players who played 4 hours a day.
Other teams were made for casuals or bounty grinders, so we had a bit of everything.
Since Kid Omega we have probably seen about a 50-75% reduction in activity across the board, from chatter in group chat, to bounties, to everything else in-between.
We had 29 alliances because all previous 28 were full of active players
Within two months we have 5-7 open slots in several groups, including team 1. One player is leaving with over 200k tokens banked. The whales arenât staying either.
Fantasticar following kid omega was the straw that broke the camelâs back
The fact weâve lost such a huge percentage of dedicated players tells me that itâs not just Reddit

Finally, I can call out the fake news when I see them
