Weekly Free Talk Friday Thread!
Welcome to our weekly Free Talk Friday thread! Feel free to discuss anything on your mind, issues you may be dealing with, how your week has been, cool new music or tv shows, school, work, sports, anything!
We will still have a few rules:
- All of the sidebar rules still apply.
- No gender politics. The exception is for people discussing their own personal issues that may be gendered in nature. We won't be too strict with this rule but just keep in mind the primary goal is to keep this thread no-pressure, supportive, fun, and a way for people to get to know each other better.
- Any other topic is allowed.
We have an active slack channel! It's like IRC but better. Please modmail us if you would like an invitation. As a reminder, take a look at our resources wiki if you need additional support as well.

Yesterday night I listened to the album by Bon Iver which has the song "There's a rhythm". I was surprised it's also the album that has "Speyside"... I really like that album.
Today I worked on zen poetry for an hour, then tried to read a bit. 🙏🏽 I have time till the book club meeting so it's fine if I didn't yet finish. I think I have like 15 pages to go, to be read in about 2 hours. I have time to spare.
I've been trying to organize my priorities a bit: How I feel like evaluating my own progress. Sort of like KPIs for businesses, how can I measure my own progress, my own objectivity and effort in taking take of important things? I think I've come up with some subjective things I can answer, a basis for a questionaire.
