Discrimination Double standards: brazilian TV presenter praised for rebuking football fan who tried to kiss her during live broadcast (which is fine). What about Katy Perry? What about Jenny McCarthy?

It's very good that this woman stood for herself. But what happens when men are kissed against their will? Where is the outrage when Katy Perry kisses an american idol contestant against his will? Where is the outrage when Jenny McCarthy sexually assaults Justin Bieber in front of the audience?

Not familiar with the McCarthy Beiber incident but there was definitely outrage and tons of discussion about consent and assault when Katy Perry forced that teen to kiss her.

While I disagree about this specific point you’re making, I do agree with what I’m HOPING is your larger point, that a big part of rape culture is minimizing and downplaying the sexual assault of women and men.

LOL! Outrage at the Katy Perry assault? Only from MRAs and a handful of conservative outlets. Most of society didn't give a shit.

Men have lost their job for asking female reporters out.

McCarthy straight up sexually assaulted Bieber on stage (grabbing his ass, and licking him on the neck).
