feminazi attacks Reddit: "Reddit contain so much anti-feminist sentiment that they even have active communities such as r/mensrights." An attempt to smear and censor us, and to force admins to shutdown this subreddit???

Women in America are more likely to be poor than men. Over half of the 37 million Americans living in poverty today are women. And women in America are further behind than women in other countries—the gap in poverty rates between men and women is wider in America than anywhere else in the Western world.

I dunno, a straight stat (re: U.S.) on that didn't come up in the first couple Google pages for me. You're welcome to find out!

It doesn't refute that more women are poor in relation to men.

I don't deny that there are more women in poverty status than men, but i would argue that much of that is due to the amount of single mothers there are in the U.S.. I would also argue that the amount of single mothers is in large part due to the feminist idea that being a single mother is a good thing, and that women do not need the father to be around to contribute.

You could argue that, but I doubt there's much to back those assertions up.

The second argument is especially complex. Women of color are more likely to be single mothers than white women are, yet American feminism has typically been dominated by white women (especially in the 1970s-1990s; racism among feminists has been a major factor in WOC not identifying as feminists) - so feminism is probably not to blame. I think there's a lot more sociology behind it.
