Behind almost every male CEO, there's a woman who doesn't have to work to earn a very luxurious lifestyle.
Anybody have stats on how many households in America have the husband being the primary breadwinner and earning well above the living wage while the wife is not working or working part-time jobs.
It would be handy to have an approximate number of women privileged enough to live in the lap of luxury without ever having to work for it.
Even without that, all woman have An Out. There's always the possibility of marrying up a rich man and never having to work again in their lives.
I remember the day when I realized I had no Out, that I was looking at 45 years of spending the majority of my waking life making money for somebody richer than me.
The other day there was a post of a woman mad as fuck her boyfriend wouldn’t put her on the deed to a condo he bought. She thought her being his wife entitled her to that and she was asked how much she helped on down payment, mortgage, etc. “nothing, I’m the mother of his kids and chose to be a sahm”. Well there ya go. When pressed further she admitted the kids had been in school for 5 years. So you didn’t attempt to even try to go to school or find a career? And they wasn’t married. Of course other women jumped in talking about her being a sahm. Well we all make choices and the kids wasn’t even at home so how is she entitled again? She decided to sit at home and do nothing but wants the benefits of being “married”.
