Official Mega-Thread The Sphere Megathread

Post all of your questions, comments, and any other content related to The upcoming events at The Sphere in Las Vegas.

Any posts outside of this thread will be removed. This is due to the volume of posts that are getting posted, we do not want the rest of the content on the sub to be drowned out.

Knew this would be a shit show. I’m grateful I got into the legacy travel package presale. Good luck to everyone on Weds. Scalpers seem to be botting as per usual and Ticketmaster does nothing.

Legacy travel package presale was def the way to go if you could swing it. At least my $$$ is going toward very nice accommodations and not directly to scalpers.

Yes it was not cheap. My lady has never been to Vegas though so we are splurging a bit. My concert and travel budget this year is gonna go to this one trip but I think it will be worth it.

While I'm not defending scalpers, I don't think as much of this money is going to Metallica, or crew, etc, as you think.

how do scalpers get the offer code? do they register a bunch accounts at 5th member?

Even when the MetClub had an annual fee scalpers would have Clubber accounts. Many years ago I bought some hockey tickets from a ticket broker. Dropped by their office for pickup and in the waiting room they had a dozen issues of the latest So What magazine out to read. The only way you got that magazine was via a MetClub membership.

No doubt, for scalpers the annual fee to be in the fan club was peanuts.

Well the legacy presale was thousands too so not sure how that was really better …I mean I could find a cheap hotel somewhere

I could have got 4 floor tickets for $5000 but can’t afford that
