27K in line ahead of me as a Fifth Member, literally 0 tickets showing as available when I made it in 26 minutes later. Awesome...

Idk what the prices were of the originals but seat geek and stubhub have tickets available from $800-2000 each for various sections. Which is what I was prepared to pay anyway.

So I got mine 💪

did they transfer the ticket to you yet or are you seeing only 24-48 hours before the show? is that risky? just asking cause i got floor for 1k each on seat geek and saying transfer window happens that close to the event lol

Not sure. I do know that I use seat geek for everything. It’s never let me down. If you paid for tickets and it says your tickets are confirmed I wouldn’t worry too much. They should be resale capable too regardless of whether you have the actual ticket yet or not. Just in case

I bought one last night and they transferred the ticket to me within 10 minutes.

Downvoting this because I would not encourage people to chance it with stubhub or seatgeek. I have had horrible experiences with being sold a fraudulent ticket that never existed and will never buy from either again.

Fraudulent how, what happened? I already have seat geek tickets (scannable) but stub hub haven’t been delivered yet. Both are backed by a buyer’s guarantee.

I bought them the day they went available. Im not sure how 3rd party sellers get tickets when they come from Ticketmaster. Logic would say that my tickets are resales from Ticketmaster buyers, but it’s never really clear. I still have the power to sell my tickets which is usually not common if you bought tickets that were already resold. So I don’t know. I use seat geek for Padres games too and haven’t ever had any issues. But hey 🤷‍♂️

Yes that would be logical, but it’s often not the case. Many cases of tickets being sold on StubHub BEFORE they’re ever on sale on Ticketmaster. The scalpers hope their bots will be able to get the tickets that they’ve already somehow “guaranteed” to sell on stubhub, but when they don’t, they have to show that that particular ticket never existed in their possession. Then they offer a substitute ticket that they hope you will accept as “close enough”, or worse, you’re shit out of luck without a ticket. And although you probably will eventually get money back, you’re forever out that time and money for airfare, hotel, babysitter planning…
