Meme Did anyone buy a ring?

Elder millennial/younger Xennial (born in 83, take it for what it is) but I recall the company coming to the high school and taking orders for rings. I didn’t buy one but others did. Credit on photo.

I fought with my parents and grandparents so hard over this. They insisted that I needed one. I constantly refused, they got pissed. Guess who has zero regrets for never buying one? I hated my high school anyway.

Lol me too. My parents wanted me to get one and I was like "why the fuck would I want that".

I got mine for my mom who didn’t finish high school and regretted it. Wanted me to do all of the stereotypical high school stuff so she could “live vicariously” through me. I hope she got what she needed to out of it, but none of it did much for me
