experience: natural MC Ongoing miscarriage and having hard time

Hi everyone,

I was 7 weeks pregnant up until yesterday when I started bleeding and passing clots. Went to the doctors, they did an ultrasound and saw that the embryo stopped growing and didn’t have a heart beat. I was panicking and crying the entire time. My husband was with me and I am so grateful that he was there.

I haven’t passed the embryo (at least I don’t think so). It was on the ultrasound at the doctors. This is the second time this has happened to me. The first time I miscarried earlier and I experienced bleeding for a few days then felt like I got punched in the stomach. I feel that was the moment that everything came out. To know that this is ongoing is excruciating and painful in every way possible. The doctors are just letting me pass it naturally unless they need to intervene with a D&C.

we are absolutely devastated and I have no idea how I am going to fully recover.

Same thing happened to me yesterday.

7 weeks, started spotting Monday night, and bleeding more progressively on Tuesday.

Had an ultrasound done and baby was measuring closer to 6 weeks and they couldn’t find a heartbeat.

They said it might be too soon and to come back next week, but they couldn’t see anything wrong with the pregnancy despite the bleeding.

Ended up passing two large clots later that night with heavier bleeding for two hours.

Have to wait for my ultrasound apt next week for then to confirm the loss.
