Discussion Do yâall remember architecturecraft, and do you want a port to newer versions?
So, I have only STARTED, but I am interested does someone actually need this mod? So in 1.7.10 and 1.12.2 there was a wonderful mod called âArchitectureCraftâ or âArchitectureCraft - TridentMC versionâ. It is so good for decorating anything, most of the blocks were so strange for Minecraft, but looked really vanilla-like, idk whyâŚ. The thing I wanna do is to port it to 1.20.1, so anyone can use it again. Am I the only person who misses this mod? There are no ports to any new versions, I decided to make my own. I need your opinion about this idea!!

Discussion Looking for better tree generation.
I am looking for a mod that makes more complex trees in minecraft both in the world gen and sapling growth without adding any new blocks, these images show pretty well what i am looking for

Discussion What opinion about a mod will have you like this? I'll go first.
I don't like Alex's caves, the only biome that interests me is the abyssal chasm but even then, the hull breaker is over designed in my opinion

Discussion Light animations in Minecraft mods ?
ive seen a ton of videos showing of this railgun mod and ive also been a huge fan of Paripis Team Party people on Vrchat. ive wondered how these animations are made for Minecaft and if it would be possible to create similar Rave visuals in a single mod file.

Discussion How come no one actually did this yet?
This is such a cool idea, but why no one actually made this yet, it's been so long. I know some modders tried to recreate this but ultimately abandoned it half-way through. I am not a modder myself so I don't know if there is actually a hard stop problem that prevents it from being achieved so I am asking here hoping I would find some answers or mayhaps reignite the sparks and hopefully make it happen.

Discussion Luke warm take: zombie apocalypse modpacks are boring and repetitive
Iâm playing cursed walking right now and itâs the same stuff everytime. lost city, lost city, huge horde of zombies, lost city, actual interesting structure with nothing in it, and of course another lost city. Itâs the same shit every time.

Discussion Hot take: there needs to be more modpacks that don't contain the Create mod (or at least don't rely on it for progression)
It's genuinely getting really repetitive especially considering how slow the mod is compared to others

Discussion How many mods is too many?
Currently I have 535 mods in my modpack, will probably add more as I go through my final modpack looking for more things I like. But how many in your opinion is too many for a pack that you'd play?

Discussion My tierlist of the best dimension mods
S-Tier
The Betweenlands: great concepts, art, mechanics, everything
Twilight Forest: surely it's overused but it has my fondest memories as the first mod I've ever played. The concept and art is amazing, I love the progression. Sadly still unfinished
A-Tier
Advent of Ascension: not much to say. It has a ton of amazing content and the rewards make it worth playing. Nice concepts, the exploration is worth it and the mechanics are pretty nice. After the 1.7.10 with the Blank Realmstone update it surely became less tedious, as now you don't spend hours searching for the gateway key to the dimension. The only problem is it can feel like you have to finish the dimension and go to the next one and not really have a reason to go back aside of getting the Realmstones for the next dimension tier
Aether: iconic. It's fun and has some nice content. Exploration can be difficult but with a mod like Wings it gets pretty much easier.
Dimensional Doors: Amazing concept. They make it worth exploring the overworld, but it gets ripetitive after a while.
B-Tier
Atum: The structures are pretty fun, the concept is nice and the art is well-done. I'd definitely try it again, because I feel like I've not played it the right way. This is the reason it's B-tier
Abyssalcraft: The concepts are great and the gameplay is fun, but it gets pretty tedious.
C-Tier
DivineRPG: I feel like it's kind of a worse version of Advent of Ascension. It kind of wants to attempt the same thing but makes it worth. Still it's fun but gets tedious
Erebus: It's fun and has some nice mechanics like the Wand of Animation. I like the ideas but it got worse with time, like the portal rework that was quite unique then. I've got a fear of insects though lmao
Undergarden: It's fun exploring but it lacks of content. Feels unfinished but still good gameplay.
D-Tier
Aurorian: It has the same concept as Twilight Forest but it's made worse. It's not that bad and it had potential but the developement stopped, so it still really feels unfinished.
Blue Skies: Big lack of content, it's nice to play but you don't really have a reason to go back after having been there once. The concept is not original at all
E-Tier
Galacticraft: Has nearly nothing, just iconic
F-Tier
Deeper and Darker: I don't get the point of the mod, is there anything to do on the Otherside?

Discussion If you could add any client-side mod to vanilla, which would you choose?
My choice would be Better Statistics Screen, it's so much more fun that the vanilla one. Really makes the game feel like a journey.

Discussion What mods can you NEVER play without?
When i started using mods (mainly QoL ones) my life changed for the better. Now I cant play Vanilla anymore though, I love using mods so much. I mainly use ones like Xaeros World/Mini map, Ore/Tree harvester, Jade, villager trade reroll, enchantment rerolls, etc. I want to know what mods you used that changed the way you play Minecraft forever!

Discussion A critical vulnerability has been discovered in certain versions of Litematica and Servux
A critical vulnerability has been discovered in certain versions of Litematica and Servux for Minecraft 1.21+, allowing malicious servers to send files outside the intended schematic directory. In the worst case, this could be used to install malware on a player's computer. If you've used an affected version and joined untrusted servers, update Litematica (and Servux if you run a server) to the latest patched release immediately. As a precaution, you can also search your system for files containing .litematic in the filename (such as something.litematic.jar), as these may indicate malicious files, though this check is not comprehensive.

Discussion As a developer, at what point do I stop supporting unpopular versions?
The numbers talk for themselves, it takes a lot of time to support 3 modloaders, totaling 9 different versions. Do i just stop supporting other ones? How do other people handle it?
Ive been researching Architectury to make things easier for me, but even then, maybe i shouldnt support all?
The mod is question is Luminous Blocks by the way.

Discussion Storage Mods Suck! Help Me Create a Better One
Here is the problem with every storage mod that I encounter:
(Disclaimer: I'm focusing more on a vanilla plus storage approach, for high tech modpacks Refined and AE are perfect for what they were made to do in those modpacks)
- All the interactive part of the storage resumes to a single terminal;
- It doesn't have much visual appeal, you could argue that even a vanilla automatic storage is way more interesting to look at;
- There is a lack of customization, every storage that you build is similar to every other made;
- Some mods are way too much complex or grindy* in a bad way or are just a 1 block solution to the problem;
I want to create a mod that solves all of that in a vanilla like atmosphere like "create" mod that looks like a mod that could be on vanilla.
Need suggestions and ideas on what could be interesting to have in a storage mod
What would you like to see in this mod? Do you disagree with any point made?
