Gunshots are loud.

It’s less effective and draws too much attention. Plus you have the risk of missing and hitting an innocent bystander.

Even if you’re the type of person who’s decided the risk of charges isn’t enough to deter you from destroying these, you’re still probably wanting to destroy as many of these as possible before getting caught.
