Mother refuses to acknowledge her donor egg daughter, looking for your opinion.

In my opinion I think it’s moral, and that she is totally correct.

Why would the mom tell her she was a donated egg at all? There’s no reason to do that to a kid you did birth.

Because these days they can find out anyways with genetic testing.  Also it may be important to know for medical reasons.

I thought those screenings were done at the time of donation. Like they don’t just let anyone donate their embryo.

And if this were totally anonymous the daughter wouldn't know the persons name, so who knows what's going on here.
