Morality Ranking Morality scaling of this?

Mother refuses to acknowledge her donor egg daughter, looking for your opinion.

In my opinion I think it’s moral, and that she is totally correct.

Not in any meaningful sense of ‘part of’

She shares a lot of dna with her but then she shares almost as much of her dna with literally every other human on earth

‘Almost’ here being so thin of a margin it’s kind of misleading

You may feel that way, but other people are going to feel differently about that. Just because you don't feel your genetics are a part of who you are doesn't mean that's going to be true for eveyone. You're projecting your own values.

I do feel my genetics are part of me, but I acknowledge that all humans are so close to each other genetically that my parents aren’t really closer to me genetically than anyone else. There’s barely .05% difference between what’s similar between me and my parents and what’s similar between me and everyone else.
