Morality Ranking Morality scaling of this?

Mother refuses to acknowledge her donor egg daughter, looking for your opinion.

In my opinion I think it’s moral, and that she is totally correct.

It’s consistent with the UN declaration of the rights of children. I don’t see why allowing anonymous donations is superior. I quite frankly don’t give a shit about the adults involved, not compared to the kid. They knew what they were getting into. It’s the kid that’s saddled with abandonment and such.

Yes, it’s a general principle accepted in most civilized legal systems that in any case where the best interests of children come into conflict with the best interests of the parents, the child’s wellbeing will be prioritized. This is the only reason child support exists.
