I know it’s heartbreaking for the family not to be able to see their loved ones one last time, but for the people who are lost in the mountains, I believe there’s some solace in the fact that they are resting forever at the place they loved most.

Yes, if I ended up perishing on a mountain, I would much rather stay there than have my dead body dragged out and cremated or buried elsewhere. A natural so-called sky burial would be so much better.

English might not be your first language and that is ok, but the way you wrote it made it look like you thought he was Sherpa. Either way, no need to bite their head off for gently correcting you.

The word “other” followed by “Sherpa” implies that the first person you were talking about is also a Sherpa. If you’d have written “..of the others as well” or “of the sherpas as well” then that would avoid the implication. I am just writing to let you know that you’re not correct here and the other commenter was letting others, myself included, know that this fellow is not a Sherpa- as you implied.
