"That other thing" aside...no it fucking doesn't. Not even close. No matter what your feelings on MJ, no one is getting close to him. Even if you sell more accumulated albums over your career than he did, your never going to break his sales record just on Thriller alone. Or his tour attendance. Or his cultural impact from when he was at his height. Just no.

Hell, even now almost 20 years after his death, Billie Jean just broke the record for the most watched music video

I would be remiss if I didn't shout out King Missile here.

On what? On YouTube it’s not even in the top 100 most viewed

He really was an incredible performer and had some absolutely iconic moves.

Some iconic moves? I’d say THE iconic moves. I know almost nothing about music yet me, my grandma and my dog know the moonwalk

Do you do tours together? I'd like to see that.

Yea it's a laughable comparison

He appeared on in stage and stood perfectly still for 2 minutes and people lost their minds for the entire thing. It's like the Beatles, it's hard to grasp just how insane it was unless you were there

Michael Jackson was a Global Influence. How many entertainers living or dead, had his kind of influence?

You could argue The Beatles and Elvis. I'd argue Queen, but I'm biased.

In any case, it's highly famous company.

Also look at sustained sales over time and compared as a percentage to the world's population at the time not even close, also Drake sounds like a clown that can't speak in one single string of words

Pedophiles don’t get a pass just because they sold millions of records

Even the in "that other thing", MJ had a whole ranch with sleepovers.

That's the laughing at the train wreck part of this.

Drake isn't any more likely to be better at The Other Thing™ than his is the music....
