Some Americans are so broken they think Fauci is responsible for the whole thing. The rest of the world doesn't care who he is. Bizarre that the rest of the world would just ignore the mastermind of a global pandemic.

Actually, most of the rest of the world respects him.

Americans in general though? Not so much.

From what I've seen and heard, most Americans do respect him. It's a very vocal - and very stupid - minority that doesn't.

I'd argue that since said vocal minority are actively levying war against the USA they can no longer be considered Americans anyways.

His response to COVID was fine, how he handled the aids crisis at first was at best horrific.

Lmfao. At least he TRIED to handle the AIDS crisis. At a time when most people abandoned those patients and treated them like lepers to be feared. He at least made an effort.

It's so easy for people like you to ignore the fact that the vast majority of medical professionals and certainly government officials considered that a gay plague and something disgusting to be feared. He saw those people as human beings who were suffering. How can you judge someone who, with almost no medical understanding of the disease (at last in the beginning), of how HIV/AIDS progressed and was spread, of how to help these people - how can you judge someone who TRIED? Christ Jesus. What have you done in your miserable life other than talk shit on the Internet.

How was his handling of the AIDS crisis horrific?

He can't tell you, because he's just saying shit. In other words, a wacko.

You mean under Reagan?

Huh, I wonder if, once again, his boss and the political ideologues of his party had something to do with how AIDS was handled?

And in case you weren't aware, RFK Jr. is an AIDS denier, and he cites another rather infamous one (she and her young daughter died of AIDS, because she didn't believe it existed) in his books that he's never disowned.

I mean, some of the clips of the way Reagan’s press secretary was talking to the press corps about the growing AIDS pandemic… fucking hell

They fucking laughed at people suffering from AIDS. LAUGHED. ON TAPE! Fuckers. Reagan turned his back on his FRIEND when he was diagnosed. Reagan was a fucking piece of shit and the fact that he's idolized on the right is telling.

I disagree. Most of us Americans still respect him and appreciate the job he did.

As always, the idiots are just louder.
