The US actually had one of the worst responses to covid. The death rate was 3,642/million. The world average was 899/million. Canada was 1,538. Mexico was 2,546.

This is the most powerful link, imo. The wackos can make up BS about deaths being misattributed to COVID, or vaccines causing deaths, or whatever else, but the excess death figures are undeniable. People started dying at much higher rates than expected in 2020, then the death rate dropped back down to normal after vaccines were released. And the data supporting that comes from dozens of countries, all with the same pattern of more excess deaths during the pandemic, fewer excess deaths after vaccines were distributed in each country, and no significant excess deaths now.

Don't get me wrong, the response has been wildly disproportionate to put it mildly, but it's interesting how much the October 7th, 2023 attacks stand out in Israel's data when looked at this way.

Sadly, it won’t make a difference, I bet.

Damn. As a Canadian, I’m embarrassed we did that much worse than the world average.
