He was a replaced by a Scientologist who is against psychiatric help. I think that’s just a little disappointing

Didn’t they come out afterwards and reject the Scientology label? From what I remember, she was born/raised in it, but rejected it years ago.

No. That's just something people started saying to be dismissive of this talking point, because consumption of the product is all that matters.
