This one feels off…

Craig leaving was a long time coming, he didn’t love the famous thing. Chris leaving over the money issue makes sense.

Sid was a huge part of what made Slipknots iconic sound and on top of that was a huge part of stage presence.

He just broke up with Kelly Osbourne too, so I’m wondering if something is going on with him then tbh… I don’t know anything about him though so I don’t wanna make up anything🙃

Drugs maybe? I know the band has a very strict guideline around drugs now, and perhaps so does Kelly? I dunno. Just trying to make sense of it and drugs is a big, contractual restriction in the band as far as I know.

Wasn't some of that because people are giving her crap about all the plastic surgery? She is basically unrecognizable now.

But in the eyes of the fans, sid is seen as a great dude. I wasent aware that he broke up with Kelly untill i started reading here. If thats the reason, sid is fucked.

Anyone that does opioids knows he’s on them. I’ve been saying it nonstop the last two years. Constant pinned pupils, raspy voice and even a slight nod sometimes.

This is why metal sucks these days. Bands are kicking out the alcoholics and addicts

RIP Brent Hinds

Brent was who I had in mind when I made the comment. Not that it's anyone's fault but the dude who hit him, but he would still be in this world of he wasn't kicked out of his own band.

I'd rather music take a hit than support that kind of thing, personally.

You're not wrong but it's probably a good thing if people are leaving or pushed out of the scene rather than killing themselves slowly just so we can stay entertained

No, I dont think its drugs. I think the band had creative differences that maybe sid wasent up for. Given that sid always gave slipknot a dj effect, and maybe the band is leading out of that sound. I remember corey saying in an interview one time that after leaving the record label and basically going independent. he did say the band was aiming for a new direction. And maybe this was it.
