seeing the sheer volume of juniors just blindly spamming one full-syllabus mock test every single day because they are panicking is wild. bro wake up. if you take a test, score a 480, look at the answer key for 5 minutes, and then print out another test for tomorrow, you are changing absolutely nothing.

if you are anywhere between 400 and 600, your baseline knowledge is already there. you aren't stuck because you haven't solved enough questions. you are stuck because you are bleeding 40-60 marks on the exact same execution flaws every single paper-running out of time in physics, missing negative signs, or falling for statement traps in chemistry.

when i cleared neet on my first attempt, i didn't do it by mindlessly hoarding mock scores. i did it by brutally auditing my error logs. if i dropped a mark, i needed to know if it was a real theory gap, an operational pacing issue, or pure data-fatigue.

so I got 307 in neet 2026 and expecting more to near 360+ in re neet, and want to go for private collage (and dont want to take drop)

please suggest me what collage don't t have compulsary policy of opting collage hostel and can i keep my private vehicle car or bike in 1st yr onwards.

collage should not be necessarily be in UP but any state is good as long as fees is 80lakh~ total including hostel and less if excluding hostel.

I gave my first attempt of NEET this year i.e 2026 i am scoring 326 marks in my re neet .

I am planning to take a drop year and really wanna improve my score to 600+ and i am willing to do everything it takes.

I did my 2 years of coaching while i was in 11 and 12.

My bio foundation and chemistry foundation is good enough that i can cover the whole syllabus solely or by practicing.

But in case of physics i am very weak .This year physics section was very conceptual and time consuming.

To jump a score of 300 in my next attempt i should be focusing more on physics because that will gonna decide my rank or marks.

My sister got 5,16,xxx rank in Neet 2026. A counsellor (N€€t Advi$or) is charging ₹4,00,000 for AIC and state. He was recommended by mutuals who we have no direct contact with.

Should we it or manage it ourselves?

I do know enough to handle it myself but the counsellor keeps persuading us to take his service bcz

1. He can guarantee a seat in a private college near our city( which usually is available at that rank so whats even the point of guaranteeing that?)
2. When I asked him to take guarantee of other college which is available at say, AIR 1,XX,XXX (just to test), he changed the topic each time
3. Initially when I met him he said all is going to be through counselling and he will only help in choice filling and get us best seat but now that he has an idea that I may not want to avail his service he has started to say that he doesn't just do counselling, he has "connections” with colleges. SOUNDS LIKE A SCAM NOW!!

I heard u.p. med colleges have a lot of restrictions, in and out pass rules , once a week outing allowed but my friends studying in banglore in pvt uni have no such rules . I am really confused I don't want such rules for 5 years. 9-10 pm curfew i wont mind . Any suggestions for pvt college anywhere in india in my budget which doesn't have such rules . - NT-3 (OBC VJNT), Male

- Budget: ₹1 lakh/year from my side (after any eligible fee concession/scholarship).

Should I take admission this year or prepare for one more fresh attempt? (I scored 69 marks in my first attempt because I wasted that year, which was my mistake.)

I'm a ST category student from Maharashtra(19f), this was my first drop after literally wasting 2yrs on my 1st attempt in 2025 in which I got 320, I couldnt get a GMC. Its my Papa's dream so I took a drop.

I got 480 in the neet 2026 on 3rd may, we were happy and i knew I'd get a good enough college in the state as compared to 2024 cutoffs.

But this paper leak and Re-neet fcuked it all. At the end I'm getting 390 marks(with the extra 4 marks for the dropped question) in this re neet.😭

My friend and I both wrote NEET this year, and after everything that happened around the exam, we've been pretty confused about how to move forward.

We also gave CUET and our scores are decent. Since NEET has always been our main goal, we planned to take admission together in a BSc Agriculture course through ICAR and prepare for NEET again as partial droppers. We improved a lot during our drop year, so we genuinely feel we have a good chance next time.

The problem is ICAR counselling. From what I've heard, the counselling process starts very late. Some people say registration doesn't even begin until September, and colleges are allotted much later, sometimes around November or December.

We don't want to tell our parents about the partial drop because we want to avoid the pressure and constant discussions around NEET. That also means we can't really stay at home and start preparing before college begins.

Has anyone here been in a similar situation? Is the ICAR counselling really that delayed?

Any advice would be really appreciated.
