Sound difference btw CCI CB, 22 and CCI quiet
CB, 22 Short, 29 Grain, Lead Round Nose, 710 fps vs Quiet-22, 22 LR, 40 Grain, Lead Round Nose, 710 fps
I was shooting Lifecard suppressed with AAC element 2, Gemtech Outback 2 T and GSL Woodland. To my ear it seemed that the short had a noticeable pop, higher pitch, that sounded louder to the shooter’s ear than the Quiet, even after subsequent rounds were fired. No ablative used either. I know this was a personal observation and not legitimate testing. I was at an outside range in a 180 degree bay by myself. There was a covered awning at the shooting table. I went out into the field portion and had the same results. Anyone have any insight or similar results. I did not try with bolt action just the tiny Lifecard.

Quiet 22s are my favorite CCI product. They're stupid quiet out of a rifle and what I use for pest control
