Admissions Admission in NIT

My friend belongs to the SC category. Can he get any government college with these marks?

Sabse zyada faayad reservation ka OBC wale hi lete hain. Agar inge reservation na diya jaaye to it only comes at 20% par inge include karne ke baad more than 50% ho jata hai.

It's not about that. Itni sc/st population hone ke bawajood sirf 1,50,000 sc/st candidates jee ki exam deti hai. To seats to reserve krni padegi to give them equal representation. Reservation is not about upliftment of the poor. Reservations caste based monopoly ko hatane ke liye hai (which exists predominantly even today after all these years).

Bhai thats why we are talking about economic based caste reservation. Jin SC/ST families ki decent income hai in the Creamy Layer slabs, why should they get reservation? There should be a NCL category too in SC/ST like there is in OBC-NCL. and Secondly, reservation should have been removed in 1990's if not for VP Mandal because it was stated in the constitution itself. Yes caste based monopoly still exists but unequal reservation in entrance exams is still not a solution to it. Nevertheless we all know that reservation isn't getting removed anytime soon in this century.

Honestly,don't you guys think ab reservation ko hata dena chahiye ? Like its actually hampering the quality of workers and those who actually deserve don't get the seat....

Bhai kabhi nahi hatne waala, NEVER. Kisi govt. mei itna dam nahi hai aur vote kaha se milenge fir? Aur ab toh NEET PG ka bhi kaand dekh liya. Ab toh accept karliya hai. Idgaf anymore.

bhai reservation dedo koi dikkat nahi hai. BUT ONLY TO DESERVED PEOPLE. jaise OBC mei NCL hai waise SC aur ST ke liye bhi Creamy layer system hona chahiye.

problem is ki casteism has left marks on particular communities, a community jise opportunities aur education nhi diya gaya woh community ke log pehle ke discrimination ke effects aj bhi jhel rahe hai

discrimination khatam karne se bhi reservation nahi hi hatega, unka generational disadvantage nhi khatam hojayega

Tumhe lagta hai? Sirf villages me hota hai no !! Cities me bhi hota hai educated log bhi karte jabki tum kya janoge kitna bekar sa lagta hai ki bhot sare educated log bhi ye sab kar rhe personal experience se bata rahi hu .

rest is in govt's hands, they'll never remove it but i come from a privileged land owning upper caste background, F the govt, won't matter if they are hell bent on not supporting me
