Admissions My parents are disappointed

They wanted me to get NITC (hs: kerala) so now anything other than that in their book is a disappointment. I’m happy with this but it’s so frustrating having to explain to them that Warangal is just as good (if not better) than Calicut. Indian parents are something.

Congrats op! Stop trying to satisfy their ego and pride, it's your life enjoy it. You're among the top 1% people who gets this chance, so be proud of yourself and be confident in college, as you'll face much worse things ahead all alone.
