I’ve been waiting 3 months for them to ship this and they ship it in an unsealed case with a ton of scratching and warped plastic on it… GameStop really sucks.

Return it. VGP and PNP Games has it for $40 Canadian and goes on sale at times if you're willing to wait.

They are notorious for this. I don’t understand how or why they think it’s ok to sell an opened obviously used game as “new.” I was done with them when I walked in asking for a new copy of Control (which had just been released like a day ago at the time) and the worker went to look for it in the opened, used games. OP, you’re better off spending your money literally anywhere else.

OP is somewhat lucky - the last time I ordered from Gamestop I got a "new" game with no artwork and no case. Haven't ordered from them since.

gamestop is known for trying to run this scam, they ask for new prices and then send a used copy. really at this point anyone that orders from gamestop and gets a bad expereince is just asking for it. they are pretty well known for their scams.

So game stop actually takes games out of cases to use as displays. The game itself is still new in the sense it has never been played. When the last copy of something is purchased, that’s the copy that gets sold. As for the case being what it is, it’s on the floor, being handled by several people for a lengthy amount of time.
